  • SC students with a total annual family income of up to Rs. 8.00 lakh and admission to a full-time prescribed course in any of the notified institutions based on the general selection criteria prescribed by the concerned institution are eligible for scholarships.
  • Thirty percent (30%) of the Institution's spots will be allocated for qualified SC female students based on their inter-se merit. If there are not enough lady students, the places may be reassigned to qualified guy students based on their inter-se merit.
  • However, the 30% seats specified above will not include lady students who are chosen based on their performance in the Institution's total merit list of SC students.
  • The Scheme will not pay benefits to more than two siblings in a household. Students will be required to sign an affidavit in order to prove that they are not the third sibling of a family receiving benefits under the Scheme.
  • If the student is not promoted to the following semester/class, the scholarship will be canceled. However, if such a student is promoted to the following class, the scholarship will be released on its own.

(ii) An academic allowance of Rs. 86,000 in the first year and Rs. 41,000 in future years to cover living costs, books and stationery, a computer/laptop of a recognized brand with peripherals such as a UPS and printer, and so on.
