Life is nice , but students are less means in 2024 only 200 fresher came , all types of people are these north indian and south indian ,so may be there is a language barriers u can say , but everyone knows English

If we talk about campus life to be honest the campus life is very small , though the campus area is about 504 acres but almost 60-70% land is still not used.Campus life if we talk about and events and fests it is worth it though it is a small IIT but it is doing great in such things as well. Being a new IIT this college has so many active clubs and doing much.Not much to say on this cause I am a 1st year student.

The petrichor is the techno and cultural fest of iit palakkad and conducted in the month February . All types of books available in the library . The amenities in the classroom are very good. There are so many sports like cricket volleyball basketball etc... Different types of clubs are existing in college for different activities.

The fest is called Petrichor which is in January of every year. every book needed for our studies as well as for casual reading is available in the library and the computer lab is open 24 hours a day.

Life is awesome at IIT Pkd, the weather, the scenery everything is so beautiful, also there are so many clubs that are active always where you can get exposure and try out new things. there are clubs for everything, culture, sports, and tech, also there is always a competition going out there within the clubs.

We have an annual techno cultural fest called Petrichor. It is completely student run and happens in the month of January or February. It is truly amazing experience to be a part of. Currently the infrastructure is less in IIT Palakkad but it is improving but to say the least we have everything we need for a comfortable stay. The library is currently pretty small but we have a good number of computer labs that we can access 24*7. The classroom are all air conditioned and comfortable. We have a great number of cultural and technical clubs which are very active. Each student is definitely a part of atleast one club for sure. The clubs conducts events and competitions throughout the semester and during vacations as well. The sports culture of IIT Palakkad is really commendable. We have a great sports infrastructure and a good number of coaches for all sports. We also have well equipped gyms for students use. The mess food quality is average. Usually breakfast and dinner will be good.

There are almost 5000 students on the whole campus from different states in India and there are also students from countries like Nepal, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. I chose this because this is the best option for my rank in JEE Advanced. There are annual fests and there are many clubs that are very useful for students in their development. The city is near the college, and there is a transport facility that is easily available.

The campus is still under construction so you can't expect anything good. Campus Life is average. Sports infrastructure is low. Clubs are also run by students. Hostel is available but food isn't so good.
