The life of campus is too good for both male and female cadets. There is organising Asia's largest marine fest(TEMPEST). IN Indian maritime University Kolkata campus, there is a decent library which provides all the books for this course. In Indian maritime University Kolkata campus, all types of sports such as basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, hockey, badminton and etc providing by our college. There is a DMET Aluminia club for students.

Campus life is not that much intrested its good due to batchmate staying together and enjoying things .the realation between senior and junior are very good which is the beauty of this college . some sports are also their in campus which is the souce of enjoyment on this campus.

As it's in Kolkata, so humidity is there. Talking about clubs so here you get a good opportunity to develop yourself, there are sports and cultural clubs on campus. There are separate hostels for every year. In the first year there are 6 cadets in the room, in the second year 2 cadets, in the third year 2 cadets, in the fourth year there are single rooms available.
