For externship students have to give efforts and college will support you for that some time college will also send you for internships.In futur i will also go for internships.Many of our seniors have done the internships. And if some who doesn't have done any internships they also got placed in good companies.

Placements are done according to your batch rank. Many famous marine companies visit the college such as Chevron, NYK, Pacific Basin, Fleet Management, Torm, etc. The rate of getting placement is high nowadays. The placement of cadets starts from 2nd year only.

Internships opportunities are there from 2nd yr itself and many cadets go for ship training at INS SHIVAJI. Companies such as Bails logistics provides internship opportunities. There are various courses to enhance the skill of a cadet are being provided by the campus from the 2nd semester itself

No not right now,but in the 2nd year cadets get chances for internship like in INS savitri big ships of india .Companies are very muchh interested in us as we the dmetians have created our legacy in the field of marine from many years.Our passouts engineering officers have proved that dmetians can do anything on board and no task is impossible for them.Coming on to the internship opportunities our college imu kc erstwhile dmet is collaborated with the Indian Navy and big ships like INS savitri is chosen for the internship,We are made exposure with the engine rooms of the ship which we will be dealing fully after the completion of our course on board.

Many interships programmes comes every year for all cadets and one can take part in interships of their common interest .. after the placements also there are interships or we can say like trainee period on ships for all cadets for 6 months

You may regularly get the internship opportunity from various side like INS SHIVAJI Or any port side or you can also apply from your side college will help you to provide as much as they can and in every batch there is a incharge of internships who regularly forward messages related to internships..

College provides internships to companies like GRSE LTD., INS SHIVAJI, CEMS, PPT, LOGIS etc. Stipends arent provided but you will surely get a certificate which essentially helps in placements.Seperate internship cell has been provided to take care of the internship programs.

No I haven't opted for any internship, Some ports provide internship to the students like manglore port, Ins Shivaji, etc. Stipend is not provided in the internship only certificate is provided which is attached during the placement time.
