IIIT Naya Raipur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• General category students must pass Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 75%.

• Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects.

• OBC, SC, ST, and OBC-NCL applicants receive a 5% relaxation in the eligibility requirement.
• Students seeking admission through the Chhattisgarh quota must have completed both Class 10 and Class 12 at schools in Chhattisgarh.
• The NTPC quota is open to NTPC employees and their wards who studied anywhere in the country.

IIIT Naya Raipur B.Tech Selection Criteria

• The institute considers the rank obtained in either Session I or Session II of JEE Main.
• Applicants who meet the cutoff take part in online JoSAA and CSAB counselling for seat allocation.
• All India quota applicants must register through the JoSAA portal.
• JEE Main rank is also used for the NTPC and Chhattisgarh quotas, but applicants in these categories must apply through the institute portal.
• IIIT Naya Raipur holds online self-counselling for NTPC and Chhattisgarh quota applicants.

The M.Tech course lasts 2 years and has five specialisations. The listed fields include CSE in AI and Data Science, along with ECE options in Communication and Signal Processing or VLSI and Embedded Systems. The first-year fee is INR 1.41 Lakhs, and the 2026 programme cost is INR 2.72 Lakhs.

• Applicants need a master's degree completed after a 4-year bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a relevant branch. A minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA is required.

• Applicants in the Individual Fellowship category must qualify through CSIR, UGC, DAE, NBHM, ICAR, or ICMR, or hold funding from one of these agencies.
