KMC Admission Process
KMC uses CUET and the University of Delhi’s centralised allocation system for admission. Undergraduate students apply through CUET UG and CSAS UG, while MA and M.Sc applicants follow the CUET PG and CSAS PG route.
UG Admission for BA Hons, B.Sc Hons, B.Com Hons and Programme Courses
Merit cutoffs based on Class 12 marks have not been used for KMC undergraduate admission since 2022. DU now awards every UG seat through CSAS according to the applicant’s CUET UG score, chosen preferences and the seats available.
- Eligibility: Pass 10+2 from a recognised board. There is no minimum percentage requirement because the CUET score acts as the admission gate.
- Stage 1: Register for CUET UG and take the NTA examination during its May to June window.
- Stage 2: After the CUET UG result, complete registration on the DU CSAS portal.
- Stage 3: Arrange the preferred courses and colleges in the desired order.
- Stage 4: DU assigns seats during Phase 1 and Phase 2 rounds according to CUET scores and available seats.
- Stage 5: Accept the allotted seat online, submit documents for verification and pay the required fee.
For the General category in the 2026 round, BA Hons Economics closed at 836.65. In CSAS 2026 Round 2, the closing scores were 904 for BA Hons Political Science and 902 for B.Com Hons. BA Hons English and Hindi recorded comparatively lower closing scores and were relatively more accessible at KMC.
PG Admission for MA and M.Sc
DU centrally counsels applicants for KMC’s MA and M.Sc seats after CUET PG. Students need a relevant undergraduate Honours degree and usually an aggregate of 50% to 55%, depending on the course. The CUET PG score decides the merit position used in CSAS PG allocation.

KMC Campus and Infrastructure
KMC’s 17-acre campus forms part of the University of Delhi’s larger North Campus institutional area. Located in the North Campus University Enclave, it is close to the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Commerce and Vishwavidyalaya metro station. Its mid-twentieth-century collegiate architecture was developed within the wider DU North Campus master plan.
The Central Library contains more than 1.5 lakh books and provides enrolled students with digital resources. It also subscribes to 52 journals, 30 magazines and 16 newspapers. Separate laboratories serve Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer studies. Other facilities include an auditorium, gymnasium, student cafeteria and campus-wide Wi-Fi. The sports complex supports cricket, basketball, volleyball and athletics.
The quality of the sporting facilities led to KMC being chosen as a training venue for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Student life also includes cultural and academic groups such as the MASQUE drama society and the debating society, along with an annual cultural festival.

KMC offers a wider mix, combining B.Com Hons, arts and science degrees with a complete group of MA and M.Sc options. It is one of the few North Campus colleges with this range. A student eligible for all three commonly decides according to the preferred course and campus culture instead of relying only on rank.
