Placement is given in the 5th year ranging from 6LPA to 18LPA depending on the CGPA and other essentials required of the student, students have to through its procedure from the 8th sem onwards. in the 5th year, the facility really helps the students in the placement procedure.
As any aspiring law student knows, SLS Pune is one of the top law schools in India and the top private law college, it is best suited for corporate law for future placement. For admission, we first have to take the written exam, we can take it for 2 days and apply for eligibility for other campuses as well. After the written paper, a call letter for personal interview is provided on the college website according to how well the student did on the exam, they get it for different campuses.

The highest packages are offered by tier 1 law firms i.e. around 16-20 lacs per annum, with average package around 8-11 lacs per annum.
Factors in deciding SLS, Pune They have a strong academic curriculum and they keep on updating their courses on an year to year basis to keep up with recent times. Vibrant campus life which provides lots of opportunities, from international moots to publications to volunteering. They also have a good NIRF ranking and a decent repute all over India. I had to appear for SLAT (SLS conducts their own examination for admission to 4 different SLS campuses i.e. Pune, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Noida). Post clearing the exam, I appeared for a WAT (Written Ability Test) and subsequently, the final round was PI (Personal Interview).

Students can get an average package of around 8 lakhs to 10 lakhs per year and can get high up to 25-30 lakhs.
SLS Pune is one of the most prestigious and premium law schools that one can study in. Several of my friends were already studying there they told me about and personally, I love SLS Pune's curriculum. It is hard sometimes to coup up with other students as everyone who is studying there is excellent in their craft and their skills but this pushes me to do better. To gain admission to SLS Pune, students have to go through an examination test and PI. The examination is called "SLAT"(Symbiosis Law Aptitude Test). The exam is conducted 2 times student can take the exam on 2 different dates and in whichever test they get better marks counts as their overall score. The exam is of 60 marks with no negative marking and to get into the SLS Pune, one has to get at least 40-41 marks and perform their best in the interview round. I self-prepared for these rounds and interviewed my friends took my interview for my practice.
Read Full ReviewPlacements are good here in our college as it is in a prime location, Pune and Pune has a lot of start-ups, but it is not very obvious that everyone will be placed because out of 400 student, only 200 student gets to sit in the placement. This is what the last years recorded, and after 200 only 150 students are placed and average package is just nine lakh rupees per annum.
I am from management quota but although i had given the test for college which i could not clear as it is one of the toughest law entrance in india and we have about 400 students from which 300 our test givers

The college is a well renound institution in the field of law. Most of our law teachers and professors suggested this college and said that it will help in my career in the future. The college takes the SLAT exam for which you have to be in the 95 percentile range to get selected for the interview round and post the interview round students are shortlisted.
Read Full ReviewThere is a Career and Professional Development Cell in the college responsible for the placement of the students in their fifth year. The process is very streamlined. But one must have a good CGPA, Mooting achievements and publications to get placed in top tier firms.
SLSP is the fifth best law college in the country according to the NIRF rankings. Its reputation along with a safe location like Pune for me to study outside the state that I hail from were the two major deciding factors. To get admission, one has to write the SLAT entrance.The first round is an objective mcq test out of 60 marks. The second round is a written round where we have to submit a write up on an impromptu topic. There is the Personal Interview round where the faculty members and panellists evaluate the candidate. I had scored 48 in my SLAT written exam, the cut off varies every year according to the difficulty of the exam. Meanwhile for the PI-WAT rounds, having good knowledge of current affairs would help. My clat and slat preparation coincided therefore the preparation strategy that is utmost important is reading newspapers especially the editorial section, building your reading speed and working on your logical/quantitative aptitude too.

SLS, Pune has a very old and renowned name of its own. With good infrastructure, amazing placement history and understanding faculty, I chose this college. SLS had its written test of 60 marks as the first step, followed by WAT and a Personal Interview Round.

Apart, from that, if you have been an active part of the co-curricular activities, that could provide you an edge while securing jobs. Some of the recruiters include Khaitan and Co., Amarchand and Mangaldas, etc.
It's one of the best law colleges in the country and provides a wide range of opportunities. The admission was based on a three-stage entrance test called SLAT, involving objective-based questions, an essay writing test, and an interview round. I prepared using online resources available and mock tests.

Factors on which I chose the college: Firstly, it has a very industry-updated curriculum, Has a good NIRF ranking, the faculties are experienced and placements are provided by the college on their campus itself. The con is mostly the fees, but given they have provided great learning resources, it's somewhat worth it. To gain admission to Symbiosis Law School, Pune- You need to take an entrance exam known as SLAT, further, if you clear the cut-off which varies every year, you will get mail regarding a WAT round (Written Assessment Test) which will be proctored by the college through software which you need to install prior. You are given half an hour or so, to write an essay on a current affairs topic which is provided then and there. The Personal Interview shall be conducted online wherein you will be asked questions related to your resume as well as a lot of current affairs questions may be asked.
Read Full ReviewThe courses here have variety of optional subjects to choose from once you reach your 2nd year and only keep getting bigger and better ranging from media to even military law. The faculty here is very cooperative and helpful however in the last few months there have been a lot of seasoned professors who have left the college so the academic quality has degraded a bit but overall the college tries to maintain a balance with academics and co-curricular activities hence providing the students the ability and skillset required to survive and thrive out in the real world.
Its NIRF ranking along with the word of mouth by others attracted my interest and made me further research more about it which made me discover its good terms and relations with various colleges across the EU and how frequently people from this college go abroad for masters, mooting and even student exchange programs.
