AIT Pune BTech Admission Criteria 2023

Army Institute of Technology offers a 4-year B.E course mainly in 5 departments Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics, and Telecommunication. Students can avail themselves of several scholarships like the Prime minister’s scholarship scheme, Udhalo Scholarship, Horizon Scholarship. This institute has 120 seats for Computer Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. It offers 60 seats for Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology. • The candidate should be an Indian citizen or should have obtained Indian citizenship before the admission process.
• Children who were adopted by the Army Personnel can seek admission if they were adopted at least 5 years prior to the admission process.
• Stepchildren can apply provided they are born from a wedding where at least one of the parents served in the Army.

• The selection of the candidates depends on the scores obtained in JEE Mains and the counseling process.
• The aggregate marks of the JEE Mains will be considered for selection.

Army Institute of Technology, Pune also offers a 2-year post-graduation course in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Design Engineering. At this institute 18 seats are available. The fees come up to INR 1,18,000 per annum.

AIT Pune MTech/ MS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate has to be Indian
• Indian candidates from a foreign country can be eligible provided they are willing to permanently settle in India
• The candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech
• Candidates in the final year of their B.E/B.Tech Degree can also apply
• There is no age limit to apply
• The candidate should register for the counseling procedure

• Candidates will be selected based on their scores in GATE
• The candidate will have to attain at least 50% in B.E/B.Tech in the relevant field
• Candidates up to 1000 on the merit list can be reserved their seats
• To be selected the student will have to physically present during the time of admission. The parents/guardian can represent the student in case the student cannot appear due to a medical issue.
• For the selection process to be complete the student will have to carry all the relevant documents
