It's nearest to me, admission done via wbjee results cutt off for my course was 1 lakh rank for my course. Management quota admissions are done. I gave the wbjee exam and got the seat. The cutt off is 3000-1 lakh rank.

Among all the colleges under Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University St. Thomas college of Engineering and Technology is one of the good colleges. It's known for its good placement ratio and discipline. The college take admissions through Wbjee counselling rounds and management quota also. The cutoff is decided by the counsel itself, but assumptions can be made using previous cutoffs. For admission in this college Wbjee is the major check point as 80%of seats are reserved for Wbjee candidates. overall college is up to the mark for its discipline and teaching qualities. but only cons I feel is its attendance criterion and due to small campus, the sports facilities are also limited.

I chose this college because it was near my house and had a very good placement record. No group discussions or interviews during admission, you can enter by giving WBJEE or JEE exam and cut off varies and changes every year but during my time it was below 8000 in WBJEE for CSE

Its nearby to my home so it's easy to travel. This college has a good reputation for career building and it is a very good college that gives a decently good placement at the end of the course. The teachers are nice an good facilities are there in the college.

I had given WBJEE exam which is held in West Bengal and after getting a suitable rank I applied in their counciling process. In there will be 3 round. You can change your college about your priority but in my case distance between this college and my home is less than others and I got selected in 1st round of counciling in this college and placement is quite good. So I choose this college and didn't do any upgradation further for the 2nd round.

It is located in the heart of Kolkata. Well, transport connectivity. The placement of this college is superb as it goes up to 100% placement assistance. Admission is based on WBJEE rank or JEE mains rank. No further assessment for admission.

First of all, This college is a very average college located in Kolkata, khidirpur road Affiliated with MAKAUT. This college doesn't have a great infrastructure and playground but it organizes some sports events, and cultural events. To gain admission to this college, qualify for the WBJEE examination or get direct admission(Donation upto 5 different Branches)CUT OFF for getting admission to the CSE Department is nearly 25k Because the No. of seats is increased to 180. This College has 5 different departments CSE, AIML, IT, ECE, and EE. The one should go through the entire counselling procedure. Talking about Placement, most of the students got placed in very good MNCs, like TCS, P360, and Mindtree, with an average package of 5.5 LPA to 6.5 LPA. Overall this is an average college.

To get admissions in this college you should have been passed class 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics then a specific exam needed to give that is (WBJEE) West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination which is organized once in a year by West Bengal Board. In this exam the cutoff range is upto 10000 rank. Under this rank you will be eligible for having admission in this college. A diploma students can also get admission through a lateral entry test which is called JELET. It is also organized by West Bengal board once in a year and 20 percent of seats are reserved in every college for such Diploma passed out students.

Choosing this college was a mix of several factors that just felt right. Firstly, the reputation of the institution for quality education and I have gone through the college placement record it was quite good almost every student got an offer from top MNCs. The campus environment seemed vibrant and conducive to learning. When it came to the admission process, I secured my seat through the second round of counseling in WBJEE, which is the key exam for engineering colleges in West Bengal. For ECE cutoff ranged from 12k to 18k and fortunately, I made it within that range. One of the best aspects of college is the faculty. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and always ready to guide students. One of the major things which has bonded me to this college is the sports culture. Our college does have a dress code and a set of rules and regulations. There were no group discussions or interviews for the admission process, one just needs to get a good rank in WBJEE examinations.

Good Aspects : 1. really close to my home 2. well known for academics and discipline 3. green campus 4. great student crowd Bad Aspects: 1. unfair fine system 2. can't keep beards, else fined 3. lack of fests and events (this year they've improved) 4. following a very rigid education system with not much encouragement to explore things beyond the syllabus.
