course curriculum purely based on new education policy and structure is like IIt's ,nit's. Faculty is very educated like everyone having doctorate degree in particular subjects they teach and very experienced like 20 years also . academics is good you have to maintain 75% attendance.

The Courses are set up as same as IITs and other Top NITs. Thus overall course structure is best. The Courses Faculty are best, they are well qualified in their respective fields. The only problem faced by us is due to Electronics Teachers as they are strict. In general faculty does not pressurizes for 75% attendance criterion but Electronics Teacher follows this strictly . The Exams are moderately set by faculty you just need to focus on classes in college.

I chose this course because of my personal interest. The faculty of the college is well experienced and well qualified, their way of teaching is excellent and the faculty of this college is any available for guidence and help of a student. The college experience a mid semester and an end semester examination in year that not much difficult to pass .

I had a keen interest in science that made me choose this course Some of the Professors here are highly qualified and are cooperative Exams are taken systematically and timely and the difficulty level is moderate

The acedamic staff is really good.. the faculty is really amazing very helpfull.. the faculty is very educated and have a very good past experience. There are 2 exams in a semester the midterm exam is of 20 marks and the majors are of 40 marks

i choose this course because i am interested in electronics and faculty of this branch is also very nice. exams are quite difficult as per my opinion . faculity helps us a lot . good teachers . good level of exams

I choose civil engineering because of my interest and its wide scope in jammu and kashmir. Faculty of smvdu is very well educated and friendly with students. There were two exams i.e minors and majors the difficulty level is moderate.

The faculty of ECE branch is very nice and supportive but some of the professors are very strict, and put pressure on student. Otherwise all facilities is nice and supportive. In each semester there are 2 exams , first is miner of 20 marks and major exam of 40 number and other 40 are depended on teachers.

The only reason I choose this course is because my family background is civil engineering. In civil engineering the exams are held two times each semester one is minor which is of 20 marks and other is major which is of 40 marks and rest of the 40 marks is depend on the teacher whether he can take quiz or he can give assignment. The faculty is very good and qualified but sometimes they are fail to connect with students. But the overall faculty experience is very good.

The professors were good but seniors do ragging. Very serious ones. They make u do their work even when u have ur own pending work. Highly recommend not going there unless you don't have any other options.
