Documents Required for NIT Rourkela PhD Admission

Candidates must bring the below listed original documents along with a set of self-attested copies of the same at the time of admission:

  • Signed copy of the application form
  • Marks sheets and certificates of all examinations from Class 10th onwards
  • College leaving/Transfer Certificate, if applicable
  • Migration Certificate of last studied institute
  • Conduct Certificate of last studied institute
  • Category Certificate, if applicable (OBC-NCL/EWS certificate issued on or after April 1, 2024, will be considered)
  • GATE/NET/GPAT etc. Score Card, if applicable
  • Fellowship sanction letter if selected under the External Fellowship category
  • Sponsorship Certificate, Relieving letter from sponsor, Identity Card/Salary Slip in case of sponsored candidates only. Such candidates need to produce a leave sanction letter at the time of admission
  • Relieving letter for the working candidates
  • 2 Recent Passport size color photographs
  • Printout of e-Receipt for admission fee
  • Candidates whose results are awaited, a declaration is to be submitted
  • Candidates who have been awarded Inspire Fellowship on a provisional basis and selected under the ‘Full Time Student with External Fellowship’ category are required to submit a duly signed undertaking
