- I like the Social life here with my friends which I miss now so much
- Previous faculties were like gems. Each of them are master in their own field. Our previous Hod was gold medalist from Jadavpur University in her year.
Dislikes
- The internal politics. Like every work space internal politics exist here too. And for this reason this college had lost many gems.
- The theory oriented latest faculties. Our previous Hod taught us how research work need to be conducted. How to complete a project and taught us to learn from our failure while faculties nowadays trying to teach us how to learn from books and theory papers instead of working on those projects.
Remarks :
I was giving JEE mains and while I heard about this college. That year one alumni got placed in Adobe and I personally thought that this type of huge MNCs are used to come and organise a campus drive in this college. So I chose this college that time in a mindset where I decided I'll go in this college if I need to get into any private universities or else any govt or public universities would be obtained through JEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course was my dream. I wanted to become a Software Engineer. After getting into this course I delved more into the AI field and learn various things. In terms of faculty once this college has extremely qualified faculty but for various internal reasons all of them left one by one and now all the faculties are new so it would be difficult for me to judge them without even attending some of their classes.
Placement Experience :
Placement drives for us are active now. Various companies are coming payscale ranging from 3lpa to 27lpa. Till now within 2 months aprroximately 8 companies already visited. But the huge bulk placement isn't happening till now.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have got a early bird scholarship and a scholarship based on HS and Secondary exam marks. So my total course tuition fee after removing the scholarship amount was 354600. 1st year - - > 122400 (61200+61200) 2nd year - - > 112400(56200+56200) 3rd year - - > 112400(56200+56200) 4th year - - > 7400(6200+1200) Apart from these tuition fees I needed to pay some refundable caution deposits of like 25000.
Campus Life :
Social Life is great here. If you want to find a campus where nobody would judge you rather than the dean and some other officials this would be a great choice. There are various occasion where teacher and student both works together to organise any program and vebe teachers some times plays instrument in student band. You'll find an annual Social fest and an annual tech fest too.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel facilities but many of friends had. I am rating it according to their description I had no experience. For girls they have 2bed sharing and single bed options with 12000/month and 15000/month price respectively but for boys there are only one option 4bed sharing rooms with 10000/month price.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
