- Campus is too good and all facilities are given here. Sports and library are best part.
- There are many clubs and tech. Socities here. Business club, e cell, 180 DC, encore,... Are very famous in campus.
Dislikes
- The stray dogs are there. They use to come in the hostel, classrooms and everywhere. Sometimes they became mad and start chasing us.
- Being the largest campus we have to travel by cycle. It makes us tired and sleepy.
Remarks :
IIT Kharagpur is one of the oldest and best IIT in india. We have to crack jee advanced with decent rank to get into an IIT. IIT is best for its placements and culture. There are all sports facilities and active clubs and societies. But some times all this things is just hectic and difficult to manage. But it also helps in overall development of an individual.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is good and all the courses are interesting. Being in chemical engineering department we also get to know about electric technology lab, mechanical lab and many more things. Timely class tests happens which gives us analysis of our overall performance. Profs. And TAs are good and always ready to help and clear all doubts.
Internships Opportunities :
I am not opted because I am first year student here but opportunities starts from 3rd year. Many famous companies and startups takes place here in campus. We get experience and PPO after working in companies during 3rd year.
Placement Experience :
IITs are famous for its placements. Here many good and reputed companies visited the campus. Placement scene is good for all the departments and companies look for skills and iq of an individual rather than its department or branch. Many quant and consultancy companies visited. Here good opportunities for internship is there which gives us overall best experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees is about 1 lacs. Rupees per semester and hostel and mess fees is around 56,000 per semester. Other fees like caution, registration, development all costs around 20,000 and it is one time only. There are many scholarships here like merit cum means Scholarship and many private scholarships are also there. There are also fee waivers for students based on their annual family income.
Campus Life :
The campus life here is full of excitement and joy. In the campus we have sports stadium and courts for different sports. Coach are there to teach and train us for sports. Inside the campus there is a central library which is good place to study. We get all the books of our academics from there easily.
Hostel Facilities :
While applying for college we have to mark the option for hostel. The hostel rooms are quite small here. In first year we got triple sharing room. The mess food is not so good and tasty. But by contacting general secretary we can try to change the menu of mess.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
