- Campus life. campus life is the best thing that I loved in my college.
- Faculty, the faculty of IIT KGP are so intelligent, and good at teaching.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure, not the worse but compare to other IIT's IIT KGP is lagging here.
- Fees, the fees are too high that many people don't want to believe that IITKGP is a govt. college.
Remarks :
Yes, one has to clarify JEE Mains first and then JEE Advanced. My college is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India and also 1st IIT. Everyone who wants to pursue engineering wants to get an IIT.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Curriculum here is so tough then the other engineering colleges, the concepts used in every subject are deeper than any other normal engineering colleges. For Academy I want to give my college a 10 star. The faculties are one of the best professors in India.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I am in second year right now and I didn't get any internship. Only B-tech course student is going to sit in summer internship (CDC). Mine will be held in next year (Because I am a dual degree student).
Placement Experience :
There are many CDC, but in my course, chances are very less. Most in campus inter or placements are getting by circuital branches like CSE, ECE, EE. But if the CGPA is good (>8.5) then the chances are very high to get a internship.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm currently paying 29999(Per semester fees 1.5 lakh) per year for my course. This includes the tuition fees (Per semester 1 lakh) and other compulsory charges like maintenance, mess fees, hostel fees. For a certain batch the fees are going to be same as the 1st same, however for new commers it could be increased. I didn't have enrolled in any scholarship however there are some scholarships available .
Campus Life :
In my college campus life is good, I mean there are many social activities like GC, Many Fest, cultural activity, Hall days are so much fun . about infrastructure in not that much good because it's a very old college.
Hostel Facilities :
I am in one of the oldest halls in my college. So that has some good and bad thing. First let's talk about the bad things, infrastructure is the main thing that I didn't like about. Now the good things are culture, mess food are good, seniors are very much helping.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
