Remarks :
The admission process in this campus is through JEE Advanced. First of all, you have to clear JEE Mains , then top 2.5 lakhs candidate will eligible for JEE Advanced examination , among them around 15k student got selected in IIT through counselling. Based on your rank , you will get college and department.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Electronics is my passion , for that i chose the department ECE. The faculty are highly qualified . In every semester, mid semester exam and end semester exam are conducted and also class tests. Exam difficulty level is above moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I am in 2nd year so I didn't opt for any internship. In 3rd year , on campus internship are offered to student based on their skill. And you can apply for off campus internship anytime if you capable enough.
Placement Experience :
It is a top institute in our country so the no. of student get placed is high. In final year students are shortlisted by placement test for companies and after that interview take place. So many company visit in our college. If someone not get any job then she/he apply off campus .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total tuition fees per semester 100000 and hostel and mess fees around 40000 , so per year total fees is around 284000 for two semester. For sc , st student the tuition fees is 0, they have to pay the hostel and mess fees only. There are lot of scholarship , like merit cum mean scholarship , the selected candidates tuition fees get reduced .
Campus Life :
It is the largest campus in India, everyone will love it. So many fests take place, two major fest in January- Tech fest and spring fest, Students from other colleges also participate in this fest. And we have one of the largest library in Asia. All kind of sports facility available. So many society and club are there to explore.
Hostel Facilities :
In our campus, 23 hostels are available . And every hostel has its own mess. Food quality is good . Hostels are allocated randomly to all the students. In menu , south Indian north Indian all type of food available separated veg and non veg.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
