The alumina was so long The College was introduced in 1856 so the campus has so great alumina The campus was full of green and the faculty was so experienced The lab material was so well and the instructions was also give very weel and good
Course Curriculum Overview :
The events here were so many But by the 1st sem you can't expect fest or events much more But during the 2nd sem you have no time to read By the end of one event , there starts an another one event
Internships Opportunities :
Internship was also similar to placement But the seniors said the intership was not superb or not worst It was okay But still the recession was going on As per the Statics The placement and intership were good
Placement Experience :
Placements wise I was not aware, As I was in 1st yr and in 1st sem As there was recession going on even in iit mumbai itself placements got decreased But here it was good but the figure was not good
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure - 65000 Scholarships are available so many Senior will give you the guidelines Which can help us getting our fee out from parents Senior interaction is important and the faculty was great
Campus Life :
Architecture wise iiest shibpur was ranked 4th Where as the nirf ranking in engineering was 49 Which was a good feature The campus was old and hostel was also old So that the campus life feels so sick and weak
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess was good And the mess system was different As the mess menu was given and the elected mess managers should give the day mess food As per budget given So the mess food will better few days And few days it was not well due to arrangement of mess food

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
