- Infrastructure is quite good. Good furnished classrooms.
- Faculties are well qualified. They are from reputed institutes.
Dislikes
- Not such a thing. Everyone will say, their college isn't upto the mark.
- Campus life is fine. But there should have less classes.
Remarks :
As I'm a pharma student, I have choose this college because here, pharma department is very reputed. And university's placement is very good. If you want to take admission then you will have to give a entrance Test organized by Brainware University itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to have a good career option, thus I am doing the Pharma. Course curriculum is according to the PCI model. Faculties are highly qualified and very helpful. Their teaching method is also understandable. Very good academic culture. Friendly environment and ragging free.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done internship from Glenmark pharmaceuticals Ltd at Sikkim. University only give the NOC, you have to bear all the costs. We have projects during 8th semester. Till now, our project guide is selected only.
Placement Experience :
You have to be a good student. You should all the placement grooming classes and soft skills classes regularly. Different companies visited our college for campus drive. Avg package is around 2.5 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For B. Pharma, our total course fee is 610800 INR. So, you have to pay nearly 152700 INR per year. There are scholership program for the students, depending upon the percentage of the class 12th marks, upto 70000 scholership can be availed. With the time, total course fee amount is also increasing. I'm a 2021 batch student, but for 2024 batch, students have to pay around 690000 for four year course. There is an updated scholership program started as well from 2022. If your class 12th percentage is over 90 % to 94%, then your total course fee will half of the actual amount. If you have scored over 95% during the class 12th, then you can persue any program for free of cost.
Campus Life :
Brainware University's fest name is - "Anandadhara". It's generally organized in the month of May or June before the even sem exam. Books and journals are available on various libraries. You can sit there and read, as well as you can borrow a book. Sports and other cultural programs occur on various festivals and yearly.
Hostel Facilities :
I'm not a hoteller, so I will not say anything about it. Though, from the friend sources, I can assure you that hostel life is quite good. Food quality of the canteen is ok. You can find various types of food as per you choice.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
