Bhawanipur college Come have a look.
Likes
- I personally love the faculty of my college, the way they are with their students is just so wow. They are there to guide their students at around everything and anything. There are different mentorship groups where they will listen to you.
- The campus life of the college is what remains the hot topic amongst the other colleges. It offers a lifetime worthy college life with so much of classroom and outside of classroom learning.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is what I dislike, the BBA department of this college has a separate building from the main campus. There's a 2 min walk between the both of the campuses.
- The college comes with huge costs, it is really expensive to be in this college and this is something to be worked on by the college to make it more affordable for students.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college are as follows The college is located in the heart of bhawanipore area of kolkata city. The faculty of this college are very helpful towards their students in need, they are always going to be having your back. The BBA department of bhawanipur college has some of the best student crowds in the city. Bhawanipur college is known for it's activities across the country, it is host to some phenomenal programmes that serves as a learning opportunity in so many ways. The admission in bhawanipur college is totally on merit based, it depends on how well you've performed in your class 12th board examinations.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I close the course of Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) for my graduation because I feel that it teaches us more than how to manage finances. I have always wanted to open my own business someday and for that I felt that this course would help me the best. My course has core subjects like Cost accounting Financial accounting Financial mangement Financial markets Principles of management Statistics Marketing Economics Business Ethics Artificial Intelligence in business Others include Environmental education Constitutional values The Bhawanipur Education Society College is affiliated to the University of Calcutta. We have semester exams at around the end of every semester, both internal and external. Internals are taken by the college and in the college and externals are taken by the university and in other center given by the university. The difficulty level of these exams depends totally on the student giving them.
Internships Opportunities :
There are enormous intership opportunities given by the college itself. Students have to get themselves registered, get themselves selected in groups and then learn the work, work themselves and get a certificate at the end of the tasks. These tasks depends totally on the purpose of the internships offered by different courses.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities here depends solely on the student itself. It's on them how well they are performing in their respective courses. The college offers placements in the final year of the college and after the final semester exams. A few top companies that come for recruitment are : TCS, Wipro, Infosys The average package would go around 5-6 LPA. My plans after getting the degree is self employment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Students are selected on complete merit basis in the college, that is on the basis of their class 12th result. Once you're selected and your names comes in the merit lists you're to fill in your details and submit the admission fees along with the fees of the 1st semester. Students may have special discounts in the total fees if they are belong from gujarati community or through quotas other than general. Scholarship is also given on the basis of the results of class 12th, those who gets more than 90 percentage are offered a discount of 25-30 percentage in the total sum of fee that is to be paid. This scholarship is only given after clearance of 1st semester and beginning of 2nd semester after it's fees is paid.
Campus Life :
The campus life at the Bhawanipur Education Society College is phenomenal. Yes, phenomenal is the word. This is so because the college is always running some kind of a fest all the time of the year. Wheather be business fest, music fest, art fest, you name it and we have it all. Not only this, the college hosts UMANG, this is the largest college fest of the city which takes place in the month of december, it almost lasts a month and the prepration starts from january itself. The college has a beautiful beautiful library that is home to books of every kind and every course, it is totally air conditioned just as the rest of the college and has sitting areas with desks having switch boards to charge your laptops while studying. The library is open to everyone from 10 AM to 8 PM. The college has it's own sports club that consists of all kinds of indoor games and is open in the working hrs of the college. It hosts different championship programmes all around the year.
Hostel Facilities :
I've opted for a PG which is at 15 min walking distance from the college in the bhawanipur area of the city. It has a separate fooding facility which costs separately. It's my personal choice to opt for this PG. There are so many hostels and PGs in that area once you look around.

Placement Experience :
Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

BCREC A ENGINEERING COLLEGE
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Mathematics at JU
Placement Experience :
Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
