- Lack of modulation for the students from coming in and going out of the college even during college hours.
Remarks :
I chose this college mainly for their good facilities and infrastructure. Especially in my department the teachers are well qualified and teach really well and overall the quality of education is commendable. The lab facilities are amazing and definitely one of the reasons to choose the college depending on the subject. The admission is base strictly on the marks of class 12 given that they qualify the cutoff of 60%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I mainly chose this course for its future prospectives because computer science is the subject of the future. The teachers and professors are well qualified with more than adequate experience in teacher which makes it very easy for the students. Exams are taken from time to time to better the preparation of the students but the frequency is not so high so it is ultimately manageable while also preparing the students.
Placement Experience :
The college provides good enough internship and placement opportunities especially in our department. Students get many internship opportunities from the second or third semester itself which they can enroll to learn a lot or make money from the same. Many high profile companies come to the college regularly to take students to their companies as placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is around 60000 for the course of computer science. Semester wise it is around 30000 per semester and the registration fees for the first semester is around 4000 to 5000. Scholarship is available for the students given that they score more than 90% in their board exams. That is followed by another merit test.
Campus Life :
The only thing negative about the college is the sheer number of events which take place every single day. It is a good initiative for the students to learn more than studies but ultimately it is also hampering the education and academics

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
