Remarks :
There was no GD or interview for selection. You only have to submit the original documents of your class 12 and 10 th marksheet and other necessary documents as mentioned. The basic eligibility criteria for BBA H is 50% marks minimum in the aggregate ( best of 4 subjects) and 45% in the previous qualifying examination. I am a resident of Howrah and after researching I found out this college is the nearest with very minimum fees and no as such eligibility criteria which cant be full filed. Not only that it has a different campus with better discipline, faculty and attendance is also mandatory.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to study Business hence I opted for BBA and also its a professional course. Most of the faculties are MBA graduates from various famous institutions. Some of them are guest lecturers of IIM also. Their teaching method is good , Easily understandable, explanation is top notch, student friendly and strict at the same time. The term exams are taken usually at the end of the semester one by the college and one by the university. Difficulty level i would say zero becoz college prepares us for both the exams well and almost questions are known .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the year wise fees is 83000 which includes 41500 rupees for tuition fees per sem and 5000 caution money will be divided into 3 or 4 terms and added in the first few semester fees which will be refunded after graduation. There is no other charges required during the course. The university registration fees is included in the tuition fees. For Gujarati students and students who have scored 90% and above in their 12th there is a discount in the tuition fees which differs every time and it is not usually disclosed in the website if you apply for Gujarati admission or scholarship then only you will get to know about the fee waiver. But the fees per semester increases every year and total fees for my academic session is 3,32,000 rupees.
Campus Life :
The main fest is UMANG which takes place for 4days during December every year. Other than this BESC hosts several other competitions like music,dance,fashion show,theatre etc .Our library is 5ksqft with access to 48k books,8k e-jounrals,54+print journals,321k e-books maintained with utmost discipline no phones are allowed inside completely air conditioned. We have sports arena for indoor games like pool, TT,chess,carrom & dart and outdoor games if selected (cricket, football, kabaddi,basketball etc)

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
