Remarks :
The reason for choosing this college is location. The college is situated at the heart of kolkata which makes the students easy access to the college to students living in near by areas. It also has a good reputation in academics and extracurricular activities which also makes a reason for choosing the college. The process of admission was very east and seemless no type of tests were taking during admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have personally choosed this course because it is a comfortable course for me and the subjects related to it are also very friendly to me and easy to understand. This course also gives freedom to choose our future in any other stream. The qualification of the faculty members are very high, they are very knowledgeable and highly qualified and also are very approachable. The teaching method of the faculty members are very modern and easy to understand. There are 2 internal exams and 2 external exams every year. The difficulty level is moderately challenging.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes i have opted for my first internship with TCS. The roles offered are Software development, system analysis, providing support for ongoing projects. The stipends are 7000/- to 15000/- per month (approximately) The tasks are mainly coding, development cycles and learning about the software terms.
Placement Experience :
Our college besides of excellence in extracurricular activity also provides a good campus placement for the students according to their academic background and skills. Many big companies are involved with our college like Deloitte, Tata, and many more The average package offered is 6-8 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees ranges from 40000/- to 60000/- Approximately Registration fees is around 500- 1000 rs Admission fees ranges from 3000/- to 6000/- Our college also provides merit cum need to the students who are excellent in academics and financial need.
Campus Life :
Our college is popularly know for its fests and extracurricular activities. Their are fest or other type of programs in our college every 2 weeks. Taking about the availability of books and journals, our college also provides a weel occupied library with all types of journals and books available. Their are many types of sports taken place in out college like chess, basketball, pool, and many more. Their are many types of club in our college. Students can choose their club according to their interest and passion.
Hostel Facilities :
As the college does not provide private hostel, students can take private hostel or pgs near by our college. The food quality over their is very good and affordable for all kinds of students. The menu is basically the indian breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
