Remarks :
I am from west bengal for that I have chosen that college and this is one of the best engineering college in india. Admission is through jee advanced exam with good rank. Lot of student from south india come in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have interest in electronics for that I have chosen this course. Faculty are very good they help us a lot. Two exam in every semester, midsem and endsem also there are some class test. Difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No i didn't opted for any internship still now. But one can do any scholarship . CDC internship usually take place in prefinal year. I am a 2nd year student , i will do internship in 3rd year so now i am preparing for it.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is depended on company. But almost every student got placed. So many companies come for placement and internship. Highest salary package offered in my course is 2.64CPA and average package is 22LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1lakh tuition fees per semester with hostel and mess fees of around 40k. Fee payment is semester wise. Some scholarship available for sc,st category student and for others it based on their family income.
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is very good .Largest campus in India. So many clubs and society available . We have one of the largest library of Asia. Every type of sports facility available . Extracurricular activities like ncc, health and fitness.
Hostel Facilities :
Food of mess is good and almost all kind of food available like south indian , eastern, bengali. 23 hostels are in our campus and every hostel has their own mess . Hostel and mess fees is around 40k per semester.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
