- Sports arena , indoor sports room with snooker, table tenis , carrom board and dart shooting and chess
- Canteen , the canteen is very clean and te food is nice and decent taste and pocket friendly
Dislikes
- Water clogging , after heavy rain water clogging is common here
- Small campus , over all the campus is very small as compared to other college
Remarks :
One of the best renowned college of Kolkata with one of a kind vibe and atmosphere the minimum cut off of morning batch is 68%- 70% the admmission process is very easy just aplly for the application online and once approved pay the fees and you are good to go
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teacher are very friendly and polite and will always help you . Teaching methods are new and interesting and teachers teach us with fun and internal exam are held one month prior to university exams .
Internships Opportunities :
The internship are offered by top companies like wipro and some of the multi national companies, the job role depend on the company but for the new students the job roles are reseach or recruitment or finace
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship opportunities are given from 1st year of college it self and placement and internship are upgradation to a better place . Top Multi national Companies come up with their intership program
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are 2 semisters in a year so the fees structure is half yearly basis we need to pay 37000 approx per semester . There are quota for gujrati a discount in fees is given to gujrati , if you want scholarship you Can have a word with college authority you will surely find one
Campus Life :
One of the best college fest of Kolkata name Umang various Bollywood singers are called up for the event and the whole event is just next level , Library are full of books in each and every feild with a space of 4000sq feet area Library is the best place of the college, sports are taken seriously and almost every sport is given importance whether be indoor or outdoor
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of the canteen food is good and everything is hygienic the quality of food is good and the food is pocket friendly and there are wide range of food in the menu from South indian to punjabi

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
