Some of the good aspects that made me choose this this college: It has a good campus (compared to rest of engineering colleges in West Bengal). Overall infrastructure is good. Gym is also there which I did not expect from college The library is there, you can study there till 5:30pm. College has also big canteen, but you can expect average food experience. Professors are approachable. If you ask doubts, they will make you understand. Rest depends on you. It has decent placement. if you study well, you can get 5-6 Lpa package. Some bad aspects are: There are very strict attendance criteria of 75%. Library hours can be extended, could provide more study time for students. Admission process: The process for admission is based on your rank in JEE or WBJEE Talking About cutoff it can vary anywhere between 15k-30k for CSBS. Preparation for Exams: Structured study plan, standard reference books, Consistent revision and regularly taking mock tests helped me excel my preparation.
I choose this course because: The course offers good job prospects and high employability rates. The field is in high demand, ensuring a steady stream of job opportunities. Faculties: Almost all professors have Ph.D. in their respective fields. Professors are approachable and available for office hours to enhance your learning experience. Exams: Exams will be scheduled well in advance, giving students ample time to prepare. Difficulty level: The difficulty level will be appropriate for the course level and not overly challenging or too easy.
Being the 1st year student, I did not get any internship opportunity yet. But according to some senior they got some placement opportunities. I can't talk about the companies offering the internship.
The college offers a decent placement if you study well score good grades. Some of the visited recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and many more. The highest placement offer of the college is between 22-24 LPA.

AOT serves an average campus life. Arcadia is a vibrant fest of the college held in November. The fest includes cultural performances, dance performances and music concerts. The library has vast collection of books across all disciplines, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need for their studies. Many books are available in digital format, allowing students to access them online from anywhere Sports facilities of the college are good even coaches are there for football, basketball, volleyball (For both girls and boys). Badminton and Cricket (Without coaches).
Mess food average and edible. It's not that delicious. but it's kind of good. It's included breakfast, lunch, snacks in evening and dinner. The menu of food is good mixture of both veg and non-veg dishes. The process of enrollment in mess is quite simple. We just need to visit the hostel at the time of admission you can get all the details about the registration, different fees and charges there. The hostels room are affordable. But you can also opt for mess room and PG outside of college. These are also at walking distances, and they are cheaper than hostel.

Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
