- It is quite affordable for everyone and have a high respect.
- The night life, fests and culture of college.
Dislikes
- As it's in bengal so there is no night life outside the campus.
- Infrastructure is quite old. As it is the oldest IIT.
Remarks :
IIT, the tag is the only reason and it is known that IITKGP have a placement of 100% that's why I have Joined this college. And also the environment of the college is so good. Fees is affordable and that's all
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is quite good, but not as compare to computer science and the new modern courses, curriculum is very much old ans pds syllabus is not to the present era. Have to make extra efforts to meet the need.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies visit to campus every year and for internship I personally Beleivd on professors as they always give us leads regarding this. Also in core there is very low scope for internship so I prefer, to do off campus.
Placement Experience :
Have 100% placement rate and highest of computer science, Artificial Intelligence and economics department. Or department is quite new to the campus so currently can't tell anything about the placement offers.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This is very affordable, as curriculum of IIT is there. Fees of 50000 per semester which include mess fees, hostel fee, academic fees, medical, wifi and gymkhana. And I think IIT KHARAGPUR is one of the most affordable college.
Campus Life :
Campus is the largest in the whole country, and a full spacious and a safe environment, a completely bounded area and guards are everywhere in the campus. Boy and girls ratio is not so good. And have complete shuttle facility.
Hostel Facilities :
Up to the mark and a long range of variety in veg and non veg. Paneer Is very much frequently distributed in mess, sweets are also distributed 3 times a week. And budget for mess is quite good. Hostels are clean but not air conditioned.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
