Remarks :
Based on my JEE advanced rank I was allotted this course. There is an opportunity to switch department of your choice after if your cgpa matches the 8.5 criteria. The competition for branch change of certain departments like CSE, ECE etc is too much.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We would have mid and end semester exams along with timely assignments during the semester. The curriculum is demanding and tests your application capabilities. Teaching is fairly good but you have to do a lot of self reading to get a feel for the subject.
Internships Opportunities :
You can avail core or non-core internships based on your skill set. Which pay a handsome amount to make sure you sustain your pocket money in campus and also other expenses. During your stay you can easily complete 2-3 remote internships along with one compulsory summer internship.
Placement Experience :
College offers placement in both core and non-core sectors based on your interests. Internships can be acquired pretty easily through various connections and alumni networks. You can also pursue higher studies in both our country or abroad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Approximately 140000 of semester fees for every department alike. You can avail various scholarships and fee waivers based on your economic situation. It requires you to maintain a certain cgpa throughout your stay at the campus which isn't very high.
Campus Life :
Socult and tech events happen in the campus from time to time. The library is well equipped with almost every book imaginable. Sports facilities are absolutely top notch in the campus. Various societies present in the campus help in indulging in various hobbies.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food quality is just above average with rooms which are pretty much ordinary. Hostels have vending machines for snacks, table tennis tables and badminton, basketball courts to play. Hostels organise grand dinner twice every semester

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
