Remarks :
This is one of the most prestigious college in Indian and also the second oldest college in India and here the placement are good along with core branches and they will provide more internship opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good and the professors here are highly educated and experienced their teaching methods are nice and faculty is good and we have one mid and one semester exam for odd semester within one month we will have mid and sem and for even semester 2 months gap is there.
Internships Opportunities :
At present I am first year student so I didn't opted any internship opportunities but second and third year people will get more internship opportunities and that too from good companies like Microsoft Accenture Google Amazon.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides good placements and more internship opportunities from 2nd year onwards so thats why we have good placements record but for placements we should have any backlogs and we should maintain our CG 8 above for high salary jobs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Coming to fee structure it is same as like in every nit and the people from sc and st will have reservation so they will get 100 percentage fee reimbursement and people having their family income less than 1 lakh will get 2/3rd fee waiver.
Campus Life :
The life is campus is too good literally I was enjoying a lot here and the infrastructure is good there are many clubs that encourage our talents like dancing, singing, photography,etc we also have sports mainly and we can do ncc here.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for hostel and here the rooms are good for girls hostels and for first year hostels the students can prepare their mess menu everyday as. They will provide one bed ,table ,chair, almirah and we can accommodate into hostel at the time of reporting.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
