Remarks :
The main Reason to Choose this college is, it is an NIT college with very old history, It is Also near to Kolkata, which is easy to travel to my home town through flight and nearest railway station is Shalimar about 1 km from my college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I Choose Electronics because în future it is the most demanding field.College faculty is very well qualified, Almost Everyone are doctorates but teaching methods are somewhat Different from South India but its good.
Internships Opportunities :
I Am Still 1st year, so I didn't Applied to aby internship. But there are a Lot of oppertunities to do internship from 2nd year onwards and I will do internship în my 2nd year so that I could improve my Skills.
Placement Experience :
Yes, The placements and internship Opportunities are Quite good, but for that students Also must work hard a Lot. Very good Companies from Kolkata Also come for campus placement and give students the placement în their company with good package
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fee of IIEST is aproximately 140000 per year but fortunately I have fee waiver of 100 percent tuition fee, so my academic fee 11000 per year which incluse examination fee and Maintenance fee etc.
Campus Life :
IIEST has a big campus with full of greenery and old big buildings.Library has a Lot of books. There are Also a Lot of Clubs which He?pe students to improve their intrests în their fields. Sports are Also good, with good and big oval ground.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I Am în hostel. The facilities în the hostel are very good like free Wi-Fi, good rooms, good Maintenance and food is Also good but for South people like Me it is somewhat tough to adjust to their food a? they use other ingrediente and aloo a Lot.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
