- I love the academics and the discipline maintained by the college. The faculty members are very good and friendly.
- Besides academics, the college encourages in sports and technical skills.
Dislikes
- The attendance criteria sometimes makes it difficult for the students.
- The college should engage themselves for more ECAs.
Remarks :
The thing that impressed me a lot about this college is the fees structure and the placement ratio that they provided simultaneously. The college have >90% of placement report in the last 5 years. The low cost to get the studies is also very impressive.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are so good and so friendly that studying in this college makes very easy for the students. The course curriculum is also very scientifically designed and maintained. The college tries to maintain the 75% overall attendance of the students so that it becomes a discipline.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no direct internship opportunities provided by the college but the college encourages the students to opt any kind of internships that he/she is willing to. There are several chances to get an internship while staying in the college as the college provides several links to get such skills.
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees was ~85000 per year as I joined in that instituition. But now, it has increased acooding to the university rules and became ~100000 per semester. There is a lot of chances to get scholarships like SVMCM, State scholarships, etc. There is also several seats for TFW candidates.
Campus Life :
There are so much more than just academics in this college. The college also gives an opportunity to showcase the skills of the students via Arcadia, the cultural event and Sports in Techfiesta. Several sports like football, basketball and volleyball is played in this college in deveral times throughout the year.
Hostel Facilities :
Though I haven't opted for a hostel but still I would love to recommend the hostel of AOT for any student as there is a good work life balance and a proper discipline is maintained in the hostel. There are 2 separate hostels for Boys and girls that are also very useful for students that are from a distance from the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
