- Affordability: the college is really affordable and very good in terms of studies .
- Campus life: the campus life is very good and very student friendly.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure: due to lack of funds in the recent years it has seen a bit of infrastructural loss, still it has a good enough lab and other facilities.
- Administration: the administration is a bit slow , results take time to arrive and other processes are slow and due to low recruitment rate for administration, it has seen the problems.
Remarks :
Its ranking among all Indian institutes is a great one despite having such a low cost of admission and study. To get in, u gotta appear for Wbjee and get under 3k rank for getting the core branches. Cse goes to 200 max, ece to 500, electrical to 1000 and me to 1300 max.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Jadavpur University has its own syllabus and examination system which is very appropriate and effective. The first-year classes are taken by different departmental teachers due to subjects being common. From the second year onwards departmental teachers take the classes as departmental subjects are introduced. Exams are held every sem of 100 marks. These are converted to 70 and the rest 30 are taken from class tests. The scholarship is also available under svscm and other alumni association scholarships. The faculty is very good, the professors are very kind and cooperative.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are very well. The ROI of the college is very good, with 10400 fees and an average package of 5-10 LPA, it's astounding. There is above 90 percent placement in all departments every year with an average package of 5-10 pla and max can go even to crores. Even in the coronavirus period, the college had a good placement record.
Campus Life :
The social feel of the campus is really good. U could see group discussions among senior juniors, among professor students, etc. The campus is enormous and very green and lustrous. The free-air vibe is very good. Hostel facilities are limited but very cheap too, allocated according to various factors such as family background, distance from home, etc. And for those who couldn't get the hostel, there are a lot of PGs and flats around the area which are good and affordable.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
