- Lush green campus and well maintained infrastructure with all the amenities which is required in labs as well as in library. There were also two canteens for the students teachers and as well the visitors.
- Placements that happened in the college is good as the records kept on improving which helps the students able to get jobs what they have taken admission for. Also the learnings provided in the class as well as outside the class is very helpful from the faculties.
Dislikes
- Food quality of the hostel is not good as the taste are different for students from different states which doesn't like the same. The hostel management are quite strict for their timings for hostel entry which can be given more if any one come late.
- For the engineering courses having 4 years of education so in the first they leant us about basic physics chemistry or maths which we have already learnt from previous academics. They can have change it to programming from the very first so that students get in hand practice and develop coding skills in them which helps them in later their preparation as well as real time coding experience.
Remarks :
The infrastructure and placements have yet to impress me to be admitted to this college. Also, the scholarship offers that colleges are giving are just amazing as they help the average middle-class students to get a proper education with this value for money. As for admission one has to take an entrance test and the percentage that you have obtained in your senior secondary education will help you in getting your course. Usually, the cut-off for engineering courses goes from 60% and for non-engineering from 50%. I have prepared whatever I have learnt till class 12 and revised the same.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From the start I have been involved in basic programming in class 12 also so I have a keen interest in doing engineering that's why have taken this btech computer science and engineering course for my career. The qualifications of faculties are pretty much good as all the facilities take us to deep conversations about every topic that is in the syllabus which helps us to understand things more accurately and also helps students outside the class. There were around 2 Sem exams that happened every year and class tests happened every alternate week which is good for regular learning. The difficulty level is good as we need to think logically to solve the questions. You will get a scholarship based on your percentage of class 12 as it ranges from 50%.
Internships Opportunities :
Some internships happened in our college after our 2nd year which is free and also are stipends to learn the real-time experience and give more exposure to the corporate world. The stipend offered by Adobe of around up to 1 lakh per month. And also there are stipends given as 15k per month. The projects involved are related to MERN stack or web development.
Placement Experience :
The minimum percentage to be there for placement is 60% overall academics which I think is fair enough. There are quite a few compares arrived for placement and records of placement till year are pretty good with 96%students placed. Some of the recruiters are Xceedance, Fexle Services, Bit pod LLC etc from Pan India which offer good salaries. The highest package offered on our campus is 14 Lpa and the average package is 3.6 Lpa. I have opted for placement and also got placed.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very good as there is a lush green campus and well-maintained infrastructure which is also very photogenic. There are also fests and functions organized at the college as well as hostel level which makes hostel life more comfortable for the students who are very far from their families. Some sports functions also happen throughout the year whether it is football, volleyball or cricket which involve proper growth of students. The hostel amenities were there in every room and there were strict rules also so that it maintained the decorum. The food taste for a hostel is not that much good.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
