COLLEGE LIFE

What I Liked

The infrastructure is good in our college the faculty are also well behaved campus life is also good
The classing hour is little bit more that is our class starts from 8:00 a.m. and it usually ends at 5 o'clock

What I didn’t like

Things I dislike about my college is doing the practical of mushroom it's like packing of bag composed back preparation of mushroom preparation of compost
The thing I dislike is the hostel bathroom sometime it's very untidy to use

Placement Experience:

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

Internships Opportunities:

Yes I am not applied in any internship I am just in first year but the thing I know that there is 100% internship the companies that give internship and job are Amul federal Bank Punjab National Bank and many seed company

The legend of BISWANATH COLLEGE OF AGEICULTURE

What I Liked

The fact of small teacher and student ration.
Campus is beautiful greenary spread all over.
Good quality of hostel and facuty is good.
Arrangements of various events that helps students be busy.

What I didn’t like

The lab experiment decides are almost outdated
The faculty is not so good and gym needs some updates

Placement Experience:

The placemenr is given at the time of RAWEP and there is abondance of jobs available. And the jobs are provided at the main campus at jorhat. Total of 68 percentage of students are recruited in jobs by companies and government.

Internships Opportunities:

Various fertilizer companies provide job with stipend after completion of graduation. Not only fertilizer companies one can open his own farm and various loans are available for them provided by the government.

AAU Jorhat review

What I Liked

The college infrastucture is very beautiful and campus is very spacious.
The University has a very big library having all necessary facilities nad books.

What I didn’t like

The faculties mostly talk in local languages making it diificult for other State students.
The class timing is very hectic as we have to do classes from 8 am to 5 pm

Placement Experience:

Placemets are available for students after completing their degree. The average package is around Rs. 2 lakh to 3 lakh. Most students go for masters and some prepare for government exams. Their are many jobs available for Agriculture students in both private and government sectors like Bank, Seed companies, Fertilizer companies etc.

Internships Opportunities:

In the fourth year every student have to do intership/RAWEP in the first semester in which the University provides Rs. 15000 per month. In the second semester of fourth year every student had to do ELP/intership in which he/she has to make and sell agricultural commodities.

What I Liked

I love the campus , the surroundings are very beautiful, on holidays we can simply relax and enjoy

What I didn’t like

I don't really dislike anything , nothing is there is not like

Placement Experience:

There are good placement opportunities after completing the graduation, many different companies come to the campus to recruit students, usually the top scorers can easily get through the interviews and get a placement

Internships Opportunities:

Not yet but do send the 3rd and 4th year students for internship , I do not have an internship experience yet but my seniors do According to them the experience is great and provides them with professional skills

What I Liked

College campus is close to nature.. infrastructure being a govt institute is really good

What I didn’t like

The college canteen can be improved and outside college area I feel is unsafe

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. There is 6 months hands on experience through the internship in various hospitals, and processing units. Students are sent to various reputed institutes for research and study. Overall it's good

Internships Opportunities:

Right now I have not opted for any internship since I am in the 2nd year ..I shall be sent for it in the 4th year. However I have participated in social internship which was organised in association with our university

What I Liked

College is full of greenery and cleaned, Faculties are well experienced and qualified with easily approachable. Provides students to show their talent in the university annual fest.
Well connect to the city, non violent environment

What I didn’t like

Water Quality in the campus, Electricity facility.Food quality is not satisfactory,
Placement and job provide by the university

Placement Experience:

Placement is available in the university but it is not sufficient as every year hundreds of students graduate from the university. The university should tie up with more organizations to provide placement to students in the government and private sectors.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted for any internship but In the course curriculum, the RAWE Program included the students get a chance to explore field-level farming activities in rural areas with farmers. Which helps the students to understand ground-level farming activities.

What I Liked

The campus life is one of the best in Northeast with its annual fest being Aventine be the best. Along with Inter AAU sports meet is also the best

What I didn’t like

The hostels are not up to the mark with food being not that good. Placement facilities should increase.

Placement Experience:

Job opportunities is good in the government and private sector. Maximum students are working in the government department of agriculture and also in research field. Various students also get placed in NGO and seed companies as well as breeding companies. Various students are also working as civil servants

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is available in last year of the college which is called as RAWEP and also stipened is paid of 15000 per month for 6 months. Other paid internship is available every semester in the college which students can opt.

ASSAM AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY (AAU)- ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

What I Liked

Annual fest where singers are invited and tech talks are held .
Classrooms are hygienic with ac facilities . Also there is student welfare group.

What I didn’t like

WASHROOM/ RESTROOM CAN BE IMPROVED MORE
AAU is located around 20 k away from Silchar city which maybe a drawback for students who prefer to study in urban areas.

Placement Experience:

Almost 165 students are placed every year . The highest salary is 6LPA and average is 4 LPA . Lowest is 2 LPA. Top Recruitment companies here are Amul , TATA tea etc . AAU provides good opportunities for students . Almost 80 % students are placed in both private and government sectors . The cell facilitates employment opportunities through campus interviews .

Internships Opportunities:

Some colleges provide internship for B.SC students during summer break like shrasa.com and you can expect a decent amount of stipend . Also the college provides 6 months internship i the seventh semester and can get 15,000 as an intern .
