Read Full ReviewThe placemenr is given at the time of RAWEP and there is abondance of jobs available. And the jobs are provided at the main campus at jorhat. Total of 68 percentage of students are recruited in jobs by companies and government.
The fact that there is very small amount of students in each class is liked by me the most. As a result every teacher can give special attention to each students. There is an entrance exam conducted by cet and the cuttoff is around 92 percentile

Most students go for masters and some prepare for government exams. Their are many jobs available for Agriculture students in both private and government sectors like Bank, Seed companies, Fertilizer companies etc.
After my class 12 examination I took admission in this University through CET, as my mentors and relatives told me that this course had very good job and entrepreneurship opportunities. You can take admission through state entrance exam CET and ICAR exam which is held at national level. Pros: 1. Big and beautiful campus. 2. Availabilty of all important things within the campus boundaries. 3. Facility of gym, medical unit, bus, etc. cons: 1. Hostels are not good. 2. Water is not good.

I always wanted to explore Life Sciences and enhance my career in Organic Farming and Natural Farming. The faculties in our University are one of the best in our country. Every semester there are different courses available which help us to know about the real life based problems in agriculture and allied sector. NCC, NSS, sports and various other co-curricular activities are equally valued in our University. Cricket ground of our University in sanctioned by the Assam Cricket Association. If anyone wants to be an entrepreneur they are very well supported as alumni association is strong. In the 4th year students get exposure to various other universities in the country for 1 month and in the last year the best students of the batch get chance to visit abroad University. In the final year RAWEP is organised which is similar to internship ie paid. Various students are working in MNC's, Agriculture dept., civil servants, professors, researchers etc.

AAU provides good opportunities for students . Almost 80 % students are placed in both private and government sectors . The cell facilitates employment opportunities through campus interviews .
Pursuing bachelors degree in Agriculture is a very good career opportunity for students . I being a student of Assam Agricultural University can explain the details and procedure of admission . First I appeared for a competitive exam called CUET - which is a exam taken by students to get admission in top universities of India. I took CUET Exam . After 2-3 months results were announced and I appeared for Counselling process and finally took admission in ASSAM AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY - JORHAT . Talking about the college , the environment of college is extremely peaceful . The professors seniors are extremely helpful . The students who come from other parts of the country are also provided with stipend if the students maintains a good CGPA in their course . The college will be worth studying .
