Chandigarh University is a private university located in Mohali, Punjab, India near Chandigarh. It was established in 2012 by Punjab State Legislature. The university is recognized by University Grants Commission under section 2(F) with the right to confer degrees as per section 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. The college offers undergraduate certificate in 15 courses from sciences to humanities to management. It also offers about 14 courses under its post-graduation section for most of the under graduate programs available in the colleges. the college also provides specialized industry sponsored programs in 8 courses.

The curriculum of Chandigarh university is Flexible Choice Based Credit System that gives the students to choose their own electives and open electives. Admission into the college is through CUCET which the college itself conducts and is a 2hour long exam and the cut-offs are based on the course.

Chandigarh University Admissions

Chandigarh University admits all its undergraduate and post graduate programs based on a single exam called CUCET. The CUCET Examination is conducted in three phases called GOLD, SILVER and Bronze. Besides CUCET, Chandigarh university also accepts admissions through a few national level exams such as JEE etc., The University opens its admission process every year in the month of December.
