Life at IIEST, Shibpur, offers a balance of academics and extracurricular activities. Students engage in cultural clubs like Udaan and Abhivyakti, and participate in major events like Technica and Kriti. The campus also has excellent infrastructure, sports facilities, and a supportive social environment.

Each department conducts their individual tech fests, each clubs conduct their fests, institute conducts a tech fest INSTRUO and annual fest REBECA. Each and every festival which is celebrated throughout India, is grandly celebrated in this college.

Most of the fest were conducted during even semester. We had oikotaan ,instruo , and other departmental fests. Rebecca was the college's flagship fest. Lasted for 4 days from Feb end to mid-March. Two large grounds - Lords and Oval, a basketball court, 1 swimming pool. There was a shortage of badminton courts. Every hostel had provisions for table tennis and carrom.

The social and campus life here is great. They provide a campus of 132 acres . About 20 Hostels are there which make a great interaction among students providing a good environment among them . Sports facilities are also present

The life at campus is peacefula nd really serenc ethe atmosphere is really good and you will most certainly enjoy it here the seniors are awesome the juniors treat seniors as theor big brother and seniors look at them like little brothers.

Campus life is very nice. We have quite good interaction between classmates, juniors, and seniors. We have celebrated the cultural fest REBECA for more than 83 years now. Yes, it's India's first College Fest. Campus has two major canteens where we get good food. Hostel food is rubbish as usual, but hostel interaction with friends is awesome. Pg availability is less in the locality.

The best part of the college mostly known as BIKKOLLAGE among the locals is the beauty of the campus. The hostels and halls are not in good condition due to the negligence of authority these years but the people living here are awesome. You would get to know how to become a social person from a schoolboy. Seniors are helpful and friendly. There's a lot of clubs and infrastructures are there but lack of funding from the authorities. Stu in these circumstances too doing well in different fields.

In IIEST Shibpur the life of a student is overall good. All the departmental fests are there and our main fest is REBECA and all of them are conducted in January-February and March-April. There is a library in our institute and the availability of books is sufficient, students go and study there using the wi-fi. In IIEST, Shibpur there are 17 different cultural clubs including DEBSOC, LITSOC, Les Thespian etc. The sports faculty is also good. Many sporting events are there including inter-hostel tournaments, inter-department tournaments, and many more. Here you are free to play Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Volleyball. Here Hostels are a little old. The condition of the hostels and bathrooms is not very well. Even the food is not that much good. The menu can be done by the students their selves. But do not worry much because a 1000 seater hostel is under construction so the problems will be sorted out very soon.

Many scholarships are available in our college, like GAABESU, Swami Dayanand Education Foundation scholarship, FFE, and state government scholarships. There are many events held on campus year round, including the annual Techno-Management fest Instruo, Annual Cultural fests Rebecca and Anuranan and departmental fest

Life at the campus is very good here as so many fests regularly happen here REBECA is one of the oldest fests here having a budget 1 cr . The infrastructure of this college is very old but descent. hostel facilities are provided at par good.
