Good faculty good infrastructure no ragging great faculty good environment helpful plus supportive motivated good placements and internship great events and co curriculum activities so it's a good place to study and explore

The campus and the experience the college promised was a big factor. It was also one of the few colleges offering the course I preferred in my city and the labs are state-of-the-art. There was an "online interview" where we were asked to upload video clips of us answering a few basic questions but I doubt if it had significant bearing on the admission process

So to get in I was asked to give an online interview and has to answer 3 questions. Submit my 12th percentage and I think that was it. Some of the good aspects of my college is that it's very open minded, transperant with the students and open to oppertunities abroad. They have a vast connection outside of india which can be a huge help for students u r planning to go outside once they r done with their undergraduate degree. The faculty and the labs here r very nice. Has the availablity of anything and almost everything a student can ask for.

I chose this course as it is a growing field and the future in this course it quite bright and also I like to do research work so it is very helpful for me . The best thing about this course is that it makes you industry ready . I wish there were not some irrelevant subjects such as history, stress management,etc. and about the events ,fest ,Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Scholarship, Extracurricular Activities, etc all the things are amazing .

The factor that made me choose this college was they were the best in west bengal for biotechnology.No there were no interviews or written test ...you can simply just show your 12th marksheet and get admission on merit

For doing Msc I visit so many colleges in Kolkata but when I go in Amity I see there are well infrastructure and I visit lab the labs are too good. And I also know from my senior that in Amity the faculty are too good they are supportive and helpful that's why I choose Amity.

Few of my friends were already studying in Amity Kolkata and it had better opportunities for my course than the available colleges. And I also got to know about the infrastructure and faculties which were impressive and better

The good factors for which I chose this college (with the pov of my course)- Research oriented studies Well educated faculties with good and helpful personalities. esearch opportunities from 1st year unlike other institues where the oppurtunities come from 3rd year. the last year is all about doing research and making research papers. The amount of research papers you make already from 1st year that even if you don't study Masters, you'll be able to do PHD. You do not have to worry about anything, the faculties themselves will guide you to the last for good career. Bad aspects- Computer faculty is not good. Getting a good friend group is hard and rare (but i got them) Hostellers have to pay daily in the cantene, no mess system. Too many tests, presentations and hw, making hard for us to study and have time. Very strict attendance system, we can barely skip a class. No exam, just a video interview for admission process (dw about it).

Personally I did had any interviews to get into Amity University Kolkata. They checked my class 10-12 result and took me in as I had a good percentage. But every new comer should expect an interview round.

I choose this college because it was providing me the course of my interest and there is a small entrance test online to get admissions. The 12th marks matters for admission process. There is not any kind of tough entrance process just online video you have to post recording yourself with the questions asked.
