I myself havent done any internships yet since its my first year. But internship opportunities are ample in IIT Jammu. There is a dedicated placement cell that tracks and informsthe companies about the students and their talent. The placement cell is super active and cant be complained about.

Internships are offered from second year onwards , i am not eligible for internship as of now , but as per the data stipend offers are quite good with highest stipend of 2 lakh offered at the college

No I haven't , here are pretty good internship opportunities for skilled students , also in 3rd year it's compulsory to do one internship, so normally no one is left without an internship, being an iit , good companies like Nvidia, Microsoft, Qualcomm etc visit the campus .

No, I'm in a 3rd sem so not did any internship till now because you can apply for internship at end of 2nd year and companies will consider you for that also you can get paid or just work experience type of internship depending upon your skills

Yes, I have opted for an internship at Emcure Pharmaceutical company in Pune while I was pursuing 3rd year. There are lot of internship and projects under professors who are highly knowledgeable and they offer every year to students with good academics.

As was in 1st year, so specifically I didn't get an internship as well and I didn't apply for any but as seen seniors get interns in namely companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google and more and even the stipend provided is appreciable.

Internships are available for the 3rd year students. The companies cme to the college and offer the students stipends as well. Some major companies include upl, tcs, samsung etc. All hardware as well as software roles are welcomed by companies.

For placements the student must have aggregated a minimum number of credits according to institute policy. There is also a criteria for cgpa which depends on recruiters. Some recruiters are Yes Bank, Flipkart, J&K bank, Arista etc. Highest package made is 53 LPA and average package is 17-18 LPA. Most of students(above 90percent) students of Computer Scienc branch get placed. After getting degree I plan to get a high paid job in dream companies like GOOGLE, MICROSOFT.

Last year's placements were as good as 92% of students were placed in the mechanical department with a median of 12 lpa and a highest of 53 LPA. this year placements of all iits are not that good by now only 60% of placements are done but still, students remain to get placed.
