Doing a CSE degree in an IIT was a big enough reason to join IIT Jammu. Although I was also getting lower branches in older IIT's, my keen interest in Computer science compelled me to choose this college. Also, the placement stats in IIT Jammu are over the top and comparable with those of 2nd gen IITs

the IIT , It's placement records plus the branch of Mathematics and computing which is one of the best branch in the current times , combined with the natural beauty , i gave JEE Mains and JEE Advanced and cleared both of them to get admission

I gave Jee Advanced exam , based on rank and branch of interest this is what I got . I got 15533 rank in jee advance which makes 3778 category rank that put me here in iit jammu electrical branch . I prepared from physics wallah online course in 11th and 12th.

The location is very beautiful and attractive and very clean city and obviously getting IIT itself an achievement so how can someone just don't grab this opportunity and admission is only through JEE advanced.

This college is allotted to the students who qualified JEE advanced , which is a very prestigious and tough exam so ni requirement of discussion is needed if in councelling I'm getting this college then obviously I go for it because I prepare for this only.

I had to crack jee mains and jee advanced to get into iit jammu. After 3 years of preparation , I got into this college. Since this is an IIT , and I wanted to become an iitian and I was getting this IIT via jossa counselling process, so I chose this iit.

I picked Chemical Engineering at IIT Jammu because it mixes deep theory with real-world use fitting my career plans. The teachers are top-notch holding high-level degrees and lots of industry know-how. They teach in ways that grab your attention and focus on research mixing talks with hands-on work. This approach helps students to understand better and build skills more . The only way to get admission in this college is through JEE advance exam.

For me, the major factor that made me choose this college was CSE as I was getting CSE in this college. As my rank was 8k and was not getting any other college. I didn't face any GD rounds or interviews. Just got admission By qualifying for JEE Adv. Then according to cut off got this college

Admission to iit jammu is made through josaa after clearing jee advances and jee mains examination. For boys, usually the cut off goes upto 20 thousand general and for girls this can go upto 30 thousand general. For reserved categories, the cut-offs can go further high. Iit jammu is one of the 3g iits and is very well-versed in infrastructure, environment and facilities. The faculty is quite young and inspirirng. However, some lack of experience is there in some branches. Preparation for this exam depends on your 12th and 11th preparation.

The admission happened after clearing JEE ADVANCED on the basis of rank. I was in OBC-NCL quota in which my rank was 2471 so I got IIT JAMMU CS. Initially thee was some confusions regarding security but after coming here all confusions got cleared, the college is perfectly secure.
