B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science has a much higher fee than the other arts and science courses because it is a self-financed programme under the DU system.

Hansraj College Admission Process

Hansraj College admission is managed by the University of Delhi. UG admission is done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), while PG admission is handled through DU’s centralised PG admission portal. Students do not need to submit a separate college-level application.

UG Admission (BA Hons, B.Sc Hons, B.Com Hons)

For UG courses, admission depends fully on CUET UG scores. Seats are given through different CSAS rounds.

• Eligibility: Students must pass 10+2 from a recognised board. General category students need at least 45% marks, and B.Sc Hons also requires 45%. Course-wise subject rules apply, such as Mathematics for B.Sc Hons Mathematics.
• Selection: Merit is prepared from CUET UG scores. Hansraj College is among the most preferred DU colleges. General category seats in Economics Hons, B.Com Hons, and Computer Science Hons usually need CUET UG scores in the 99th percentile range.
• The process includes DU CSAS Phase 1 for preference filling, Phase 2 for seat allocation rounds, and a stray vacancy round.
• Reservation: DU reservation rules apply for EWS, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and PwBD categories.

PG Admission (MA, M.Sc, M.Com)

PG admission is based on CUET PG scores conducted by NTA. DU allots seats through its central PG portal.

• Eligibility: Students need a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, or 45% for SC/ST students.
• Applicants must qualify CUET PG in the relevant subject paper.

Hansraj College placement data for 2024 shows a highest package of INR 23 LPA and an average package of INR 9 LPA. The placement drive had more than 150 companies and over 500 offers.

Recruiters came from IT services, analytics, consulting, financial services, and research organisations. Students received roles in areas such as data analytics, technology consulting, financial analysis, and public policy research. Hansraj College Campus and Infrastructure

Hansraj College is located at Mahatma Hans Raj Marg, Malka Ganj, in the DU North Campus area of New Delhi.
