The hostel committee releases online form for the admission and releases multiple lists for admission in hostel on the basis of CUET scores. The infrastructure of the boys hostel is old and there have been internal talks regarding renovation of boys hostel and it might render it unavailable for a long while in future. The food and other amenities are good.

Read Full ReviewI have rented a pg around the campus. It was in kamla nagar. The registration process requires a security to be provided for the first month during registration with the rent for first month. The security is refundable and is given after you leave it. The mess is sometimes inside the pg and provides food with the accomodation. The mess food is sometimes bad but is affordable and reliable. The rooms are single, double and triple sharing with varying costs respectively.
There are a lot of people that come from different backgrounds. They are very humble and provide a different perspective everytime. The people are non judgemental and are unique in their own ways. They are welcoming and friendly. The seniors also help out a lot and provide timely response to our questions. It is a great environment promoting equality. There are a lot of clubs highlighting different arenas from dance, music to ngos and others. It is a great boost to your cvs and consist of a large variety of people. The college provides a great opportunity to make connections for future. There are various fests and sports events like khelo Hansraj also organised every year
Read Full ReviewNo, there is almost nil chance for hostel allotment for the ncr students, and another blunder is the reservation criteria, however few of my mates got hostel but they left it very soon as the experience wasn't good as well
Very bad life at campus, it's just a place for rich brats to show off and be as mannerless as they can. Not to mention the illegal PGs and the high charges that PG and flat owners charge along with the brokerage.
Read Full ReviewI rented a PG in Campus and didn't go for hostels. The rent for a decent double-sharing PG in north campus which has AC, house keeping, 3 meals a day and other basic amenities is somewhere around 14k per month. Yes I know it's expensive but it is what it is. You can also go for cheaper options there but you'll have to sacrifice some of the services for that. So the range for PGs starts from around 7k per month and goes upto 25k per month depending on Size, Amenities and occupancy of the room. In almost every PG, you have to pay the electricity bill separately depending on the consumption of the month.
The campus life at North Campus of DU is just awesome. From Chai tapri(in Kamla Nagar and Vijay Nagar) to Big Cafes in Hudson, it offers you everything for fun. All the colleges have their own Annual Fests like Confluence(HRC), Mecca(Hindu), Tempest(Miranda) which are really grand in nature and open for all the DUites to participate. If you're in DU, you will definitely be having a great infrastructure and support of college for everything you do, from sports to debating, poetry to singing or dancing. You can learn more and more here and get a step ahead towards your goal in life. You will have access to good libraries which every college has, especially the Hansraj Library which is very nice. The classrooms of HRC are also Air-conditioned which gives a big relief during Delhi summers.

The campus life is great. You have cafes in the north campus. The infrastructure of the college is amazing. You can click good pictures around the brick walls and hang around with your friends in the campus. The campus is beautiful with greenery all around and a beautiful playground.

Read Full ReviewHostel food was very good . The ingredients were good enough. Generally all the dishes were made good but once in a week there was the food intolerable , but again food taste is subjective . The breakfast dishes were very good. For admission in hostel there was a form for hostel and it was held each year separately. And there was also an interview in my first year after clearing the cutoff and other criterias for hostel admission
In my first year there was no fest in my college because college was recovering from the pandemic period problems and backlashes in administration and infrastructure. But then in 2nd year the situation got better and fests and events like diwali mela and annual fest organised. Stars like Satinder sartaj and neeru bajwa also visited our college campus during the annual fest . Also the societies in hansraj college are active enough to develop one's social life and personality both formally and informally.
Read Full ReviewConfluence is one of the biggest fest in Hansraj and whole North campus. It takes place in April and usually, it has many games food stalls and amazing artists like DG Immortal, Satinder Sartaj, Akhil Sachdeva.
Read Full ReviewAlthough there is not much Campus life at Delhi University. But there's for sure a great College life experience that a student may experience if they are active in social and academic fields. On North campus after every few 100 meters there is one esteemed college. You don't find this everywhere. The roads whenever you go out will be filled with students. It gives a safe environment for the women/girls as well. Riding Yulu late at night and enjoying the traffic-less roads is one thing that we North Campus students flex a lot about. Festivals and sports events get organized starting from February to May. The society of Hansraj are active (not all but the good ones are)
