SKCET B.E and B.Tech Selection Process 2026

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions authority manages government quota allotment. It prepares the TNEA merit rank from the student’s Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics scores in Class 12.

  • The TNEA score is calculated as Mathematics x 1.5 + Physics x 1.0 + Chemistry x 0.5 and is scaled to 200. SKCET does not award bonus marks for vocational subjects.
  • Tamil Nadu reservation rules apply. Category-based rank benefits are available to SC, ST, BC, BCM, MBC, and DNC students.
  • For the management quota, SKCET selects students using Class 12 PCM merit to fill 35% of its seats. Students must contact the admission office directly. Availability may be faster in newer branches such as Cyber Security, IoT, and Mechatronics.
  • Seat availability under each route depends on the chosen engineering branch.

Management Quota at SKCET: Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology reserves 35% of B.E and B.Tech seats for management quota admission. Applicants need Class 12 PCM with at least 45% aggregate, but they do not need a TNEA rank. Applications can be submitted through skcet.ac.in or at the Coimbatore campus admission office. Available seats differ by branch.
