There are two campuses south and north in south core branches classes are there and in North campus tech branch north campus Is atleast 20 km away from the south campus the hostel facility is available in both campus

As I live in south campus hostel, it is all good around my hostel. I can access everything easily. But north campus is almost out of the city and it is completely in an industrial area. so I feel the campus life here is average. More over the main events takes place in south campus and the students in North will miss out all of those.

NIE consists of 2 campuses(NORTH and SOUTH) with 17 kms apart. NIE SOUTH is amidst the city of MYSORE and NIE NORTH is located at an industrial area. Both campuses have hostel facility. Transportation facilities are also provided between these campuses. College fest named TECHNiekS is celebrated during mid year. Apart from that, branch fests are also conducted during odd sem. College has vast library. Classrooms are well furnished. Sports and extracurricular activities are supported. South college has DIAMOND JUBLEE BLOCK and a vast ground. NORTH college too has a vast ground. NIE has various tech and non-tech clubs like NISB, ONYX, ISSA, GFG, GDSC etc.,

Our college fest is named TeckNIEks, which is conducted every year in May/June. Each year we have a specific theme on which the fest is conducted. Coming to the library, the amount of knowledge we can gain here is huge. There are 3 different sections where one can study, sit, and borrow the books. There is even a separate section, which contains computers with internet access. The classrooms here are well-lit and spacious. Every classroom is equipped with a projector, some of them even have a smart board. The sports ground on the campus is very huge. The students are trained for a lot of sports such as Football, hockey, Softball, volleyball, throwball, etc. We also have an indoor stadium where badminton, Table Tennis, and carrom is played. There are around 30+ student clubs in the college that are completely run by the students. From Entrepreneurship to Formula Student and SAE racing, we have all kinds of clubs for every student's interests.

There are 2 internals each of 20 marks is there. 10 marks is of quiz or assignment. Final SET is of 100 marks.. Infrastructure is not so good. Neither Library is good. Limiter books available. Sunday Library is closed.

There are many clubs based on the interests of students which conduct many events. There will be at least 4 to 5 events in a week which are diverse some are technical events and some are gaming events. Google Development Student Club is one famous club in the college and there are many others. Sports events and selections are done at regular intervals. The library will have all the books you need. The food is a problem in a hostel and the cost is 1 lakh per year. The hostel is 13 kilometers away from college for 1st year students.

The life in NIE is just beautiful ! There are no strict teachers to restrict you till you are a good student. There a good braks between the lectures, they celebrate the course Party for every branches at the starting of the course (1st sem) Almost all study related books are present in library , and a study environment is maintained in class as well as library there is even a sports events for everyone who are interested and many other activities are preferred other than studies such as skill development etc ., There are many clubs which perform regular activities based on skills and other activities such as dance , singing, coding etc.

Talking about my campus, this is one factor that makes me unhappy: the campus is divided into two parts, NIE North and NIE South. All computer science-related branches are in the north campus, where I am. The north campus area is 25 acres, which is not very large, but it's okay. The infrastructure is good, and this year our college received funding of around 450-500 crore. In the next five years, this college will be booming. It has a good library with most books available. Fests are happening in a month; major ones include Techniqes, Vibrance, and Arise. Sports are conducted regularly—this is the best thing. Last week, our college hosted the Smart India Hackathon, in which many students from other colleges participated and had a conference call with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The campus and social life at NIE completely depends upon how you want to be and how much you guys involve yourself because many people from different parts of India will be there for you to hangout so there is wide exposure

there are plenty of clubs, they are good and coming to fest, there will be department fests as well as college fests so no worries for funn rest there are several education programs offerd by college, quite helpful
