RIE Bhubaneswar offers various courses including 2-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program, and 4-year integrated courses in B.Sc. B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed. It also provides a one-year Diploma course in Guidance and Counselling, MPhil in Education, and Pre-Ph.D in Education programs. The Institute also offers research and development services. 

  • RIE Bhubaneswar Admission to 2 year B.Ed., 4 years of integrated B.A.+ B.Ed., and B.Sc + B.Ed. programs is based on CEE entrance exam scores.
  • In order to be eligible to apply for the B.A. B.Ed. program the candidates must have completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree program in Science or Arts with a minimum of 50% marks. 
  • The institute offers admission to two years B.Ed course is offered both for science and arts stream students. Candidates willing to apply for B.Ed in science stream must have had physics, chemistry, and mathematics or chemistry, botany, and zoology at the graduation level.
  • Students applying for B.Ed in the Arts stream should have studied at least one school subject each from the above mentioned subjects with one of them being an elective at +3 arts level. The subjects include English, Hindi, Oriya, Bengali, history, geography, political science, and economics. 
  • Admission to the M.Phil course at RIE shall be done based on the written entrance exam, career marks, and viva voice.

  • Register yourself by providing your current email id, Choose the course you want to apply, Enter a password using which you will be able to login to the portal.
  • Now click on the applicant login link and log in to the portal by filling in your login details. 
  • Next fill out the application step by step by providing personal information, Academic Information, and Payment information. 
  • Pay the application fees online through SBI Collect. 
  • Review the form and Click save and submit.

Ques- What are the eligibility criteria to get admission into Four year Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed (PCM and CBZ Streams) at RIE? 

Ans: In order to be eligible for the Four year Integrated course offered by RIE the candidate must Pass +2 Science with a minimum of 50% in aggregate. At the +2 level, the candidate should have either:

(a) Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry

(b) Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

 Each stream requires its own application form.

Ans: Candidates have to pay INR 14,155 as admission fees at the time of admission to the M.Ed program at RIE.
