MAT 2023 Exam Dates for September Session have been announced by the AIMA. The exam is conducted in 3 modes - PBT, CBT and IBT. Exam in IBT mode will be held on September 02, 09, 10 and 16, 2023. PBT and CBT mode exam dates are September 03 and 17, 2023, respectively. MAT 2023 registration for September Session is open.
AIMA will conduct the exam for admission to more than 600 business schools in India. The MAT eligibility criteria prescribe that candidates should be graduates of any stream. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation and waiting for their results will also eligible to appear in the MAT 2023 exam.

MAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The aspiring candidates must meet the following MAT eligibility criteria:
- Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university.
- Final-year graduation students are also eligible to apply for the MAT exam.
- Candidates who hold a professional degree such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CS (Company Secretary), or ICWA (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants) are also eligible to apply for the MAT exam.
How to Register for MAT 2023 Exam?
To register for the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) Exam 2023, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the official website of the All India Management Association (AIMA) - www.aima.in.
- If you are a new user, click on the "New Candidate Registration" or similar option to create a new account. Provide the necessary details such as your name, email address, and mobile number, and create a password.
- After successfully registering, log in to your account using your registered email address and password.
- Once logged in, fill in the application form. Provide the required information, including personal details, educational qualifications, preferred exam centers, and other relevant information.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned on the website. Ensure that the uploaded files are in the specified format and size.
- Pay the application fee using the available payment options (such as debit card, credit card, net banking, etc.).
- After successful payment, review all the provided information and click on "Submit" to complete the application process.
- After submission, save a copy of the filled application form for future reference.
- You may also choose to print a hard copy of the application form.
MAT 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates must be well aware of the exam pattern of the exam. The MAT exam pattern is given below for the convenience of the candidates:
- Mode of Examination: computer-based (CBT) and paper-based (PBT) and IBT modes.
- Sections: The MAT exam consists of five sections, namely
- Language Comprehension,
- Mathematical Skills,
- Data Analysis and Sufficiency,
- Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and
- Indian and Global Environment.
- Total Questions: 200
- Question Format: multiple-choice type
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer is usually awarded one mark. However, some questions may have a different marking scheme, which will be specified in the exam instructions.
- Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes)
- Negative Marking: one-fourth of a mark is deducted for each incorrect answer
