
MAT 2024 IBT Mode exam dates for the August Session have been announced. MAT IBT exam dates are August 14 and August 23, 2024. The application fee is INR 1950 for all the modes (CBT, PBT, IBT). For the purposes of this article, we will be focusing on IBT.
This is an internet-based, remote proctored examination to help candidates get selected for top management colleges. candidates can take the exam from their homes using their own devices. However, candidates must follow the prescribed guidelines for IBT Mode, strictly. This exam is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association). MAT is conducted in four phases- February, May, September, and December for admission to MBA/PGDM courses.

The process of registration for the IBT mode is similar to the other modes.
In order to download the admit card, the candidate has to visit the official website and enter the date of birth and registration number on the login page.

The results for MAT will be released for modes on the same day on the AIMA website. Candidates can download their results by using their credentials to log into the portal. Follow the steps given below when the results are announced-
Q. Does the candidate have to keep their webcam on for the whole duration?
A. Yes, the webcam has to be on at all times during the exam to avoid any possibility of cheating.
Q. Can one take the MAT exam more than once?
A. MAT is conducted multiple times a year- February, May, September, and December. So yes, one can take this exam more than once but the score of the latest exam will be looked at for admissions.
Q. Can a candidate use their mobile phone to take this exam?
A. No, a system is a requirement for the candidate to take this examination. There needs to be provision for a webcam and microphone.
Q. What qualifies as a good score for MAT?
A. On average, a total of 80 attempts with 80 percent accuracy or a net score excluding the Indian and Global Environment over 60 (out of 160) is considered an excellent score.
Q. How long are the MAT scores valid for?
A. MAT scores are valid for 1 year in all institutions. After a year, the score expires, and one has to take the exam again.
Q. What to do if one gets disconnected due to a power cut or the internet gets disconnected?
A. The test is run in autosave mode. When the window loads back up again one can resume, however, note that disconnections will be noted and might be reported for further action.
