- The rules is one of the problem in this collage. You have to follow the rules.
- The area of the college campus is quite small.
Remarks :
The main factor for that i choose this collage is because of the atmosphere of the college. The atmosphere is very very good for studying and the teachers are very helpful. And here no one is facing the problem of bullying and ragging. That's why I choose this collage over any other college. And the main problem is that the college is very very strict. You have to follow the rules properly otherwise you will get punished by teachers and monks. Yes there there is two steps that you need to be cleard that first one is written test of 50 marks and then there is viva and you must be cleard both the test otherwise you will not be able to enter this collage. The cut off is around 15 to 20 marks out of 50 marks. You have to read your books properly and your concepts must be cleard then you will be easily able to enter this collage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course that i choose is very promising and secured. And the teachers are very educated and helpful. The way that they are teaching is amazing. The exam is so on time that i have never seen like it. And the papers are not esay, sometimes the level of the paper is moderate to hard
Internships Opportunities :
In our collage the internship program is simply amazing. Paints company like berger, Asian paints offered some intership on the other hand some cement companies are also offered interships like Acc cement etc. My project is to see the quality of cement and how we improved the quality of cement.
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite good in this collage. The eligibility criteria is that you must scored a good number of marks like above 8 cgpa. Some of the recuiters are Berger paint and some cement company etc. The highest package in our collage after completeing the degree is 5 lakh ruppes per year. Here around 90 to 95 % students agr getting placed. My plans is to go the IIT after completing the degee.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This is an autonomous college.The fees of this collage is cheap and affordable than any other college. Here the yearly fees is 72000 and there is no tution fees here because we are not taken any tution from outside of this collage. The admission fees is 16400 ruppes and lab fees is 2000 rupees per month and once a year we have to pay 3400 ruppes for the maintenance and cultural purpose. There is no different fees system for the categories student. Here many scholarships are available like svmcm and oasis and the amount of svmcm scholarship is 18000 rupees per year and oasis is 16000 rupees per year. Overall the fees structure is good.
Campus Life :
The campus life is not easy it is full of rules and rules and you have to follow the rules. There is no fest available in this collage. The library is so huge and full of books of national and international authors. You have no feeling of absense of books. The classrooms are also very good. There is full of extracurricular activities like singing, playing sport like football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis etc. Yes here club is present called photography club.
Hostel Facilities :
The food is very good and here the food is given very very timely. Here the option of both vegan and non vegan is present so that is very good step. The menu is amazing, all are present like fish, egg, meat sweet curd, sour curd etc. The is system of renting home, here you have to stay in the college hostels.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
