- I really like the infrastructure in my college which is decorated with the beautiful flowers.
- The study environment in our college is very nice. The faculty of our department is very well.
Dislikes
- I really dislike about our college campus life is that we are not allowed to go outside the college at all times.
- Some of study rooms in our college are not high quality, which i find disappointing.
Remarks :
Basically department of industrial chemistry and chemistry are provided placement in the top companies that is the good aspects for students. Also here educational system is very good. Different study rooms are available of our college. The bad things off our college are that we are not always allowed to go outside the college. To get a chance in our college, you have to take an exam that is conducted of our college authority and clear an interview. I studied very well and clear an exam and an interview to get the opportunity to study in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am studying industrial chemistry in this college because the placement of industrial chemistry and chemistry are very well. Every year many students get placed in the top companies. Our teachers faculty are very good. They're well educated from top universities. Our teachers treat us very well and guide us very well in our studies. Our course curriculum is 4 year and 8 semester system. This curriculum system is very good for studies.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college provides opportunities for internships in verious industries like Nirmal wire private Ltd industry, Himadri chemical industry with stipend. Our industrial chemistry department is currently conducting a study on process of green amonia also verious project.
Placement Experience :
Most of the students get placed in the top companies from the department of industrial chemistry and chemistry. Mainly burger paints, ACC sement, TATA Steel, chemical companies are come for requirment. Around 90% students get placed in the top companies. The placement packages are 2.5 Lac to 5 lacs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college is missionary college. It is a residential and autonomous college. Total fees of our college is 65400 per year for all courses. The college fees are 27400 per year including registration fees, admission fees, lab fees, development fees etc. The hostel fees are 38000 per year including mess charges, food charges, electric charges, tuition fees etc. Our college offers many types of scholarship like Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum means scholarship (SVMCM scholarship), OASIS scholarship for SC, st, OBC students, also provide private scholarship like TATA scholarship, Jindal scholarship etc.
Campus Life :
Our college campus is very beautiful, decorated with many flowers all around. Our college has a huge central library where many types of books, journalism are available. Our college plays various sports such as football, cricket, volleyball etc. Verious types of drama programs are held in our college.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality in our college hostel is very good. There meals a day are provided by our college. Our college hostel room is very clean. You can only get the opportunity to stay in the hostel if you get a chance in admission process in our college. All the students in our college hostel live together in a friendly manner.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
