Remarks :
I take admission by seeing its ranking in nirf website.Here many aspects are good like faculty,maharajs etc.Though it is a residential college so it has charming future. For admission here you shold give entrance exam which is conducted by this college and form will given in college website after the 12th bord exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choise this course for different reason cause my subject microbiology have a great future. Faculty is to good. Teachers are too much friendly and behave like friends. exam conducted by two way-a)CA B)End semister Exams are too difficult.

yess most of the dept occurs internship I Actually this type of intenship we take from University,iit iiser,niserIcMR etc. you can get job after msc. projects varry with department s.There are some depertment.
Placement Experience :
no placement. because it is college for normal gaduation.But there are some depertment which conduct palce ment like industrial chemistry, microbiology,travel and tourism etc. Most place ment occurred in travel and tourism department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Basically you have paid 2000per month for tution fees,lab charges and other purpose.And it is a residential college so you have to stay in the hostel,it is mandatory for every student. Hostel charges vary every month but it is all about under 3000per month.Other wise their are no jiddin charges.And most important thing is in time of admission you have to pay admission fees .It may vary for different streams like for admit in microbiology department you have to pay 17000.Art grouos have to pay less than 10000.
Campus Life :
fest mainly occurred in the month of may. After admission of 1st year we celebrate our fest. Their are many types of journal and books in library according departments.Long term and short term book salso givven. sports kits are provided . There are 2 field for playing.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is mandatory for every one. College is only for boys. Hostel charges are 1400rupees per month and mess charges can vary but it not be more than 3000 rupees per month.In a hostel you should stay with friends

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
