- iit kharagpur experience a extreme weather conditon which can be challenging adapt to summers are harsh with temp above 40c accompanied by humidity levels the sweltering heat makes commuting across large campus uncomfortable especially for student living in hostels . Far from their department mostly bring heavy rainfall often leading to waterlogging in certain areas of the campus winter although short can be quite old making it necessary of heavy warm clocks the fluctuating climate of a daily routine as extreme heat and humidity make it difficult to concentrate on studies or extracurricular activities
- while IT Khaddpur provide hostel accommodation for all students of hostels are quite old and in need of renovation the room especially in older hostel camp the small and black modern amenities although the newer hostel offer better infrastructure not all student get allocated to tap members food quality inconsistent and many student find the manure repetitive and less appealing these are days where the food is good but at times it lacks variety at taste very students prefer eating at private heading for Rodriguez from online delivery services

i choose IIT kharagpur for my electrical engineering course primarily because of its academic excellence research opportunities and strong industry connection. this institute has a well known established reputation extensive alumni network and excellent record which made it to a top choice for the additional iit kharagpur have a vibrant campus life divers extracurricular activities and access to top notch faculty making it an ideal place for holistic learning the admission process was through jee advanced exam which is considered one of toughest examinations to qualify it had to clear jee mains acts as a preliminary round the Jee advanced cutoff varies each year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose electrical engineering at IIT kharagpur due to my interest in core engineering concepts emerging technologies like power electronic and machine learning application in electrical systems and excellent research opportunities available at institute the course curriculum is well structured covering fundamental and advanced topics including circuit theory control system, power system and semiconductor devices however some other feel a bit outdated and could benefit from the inclusion of more industry relevant content and the practical exposure the faculty at iit kharagpur is highly qualified with most professor holding phd's from prestigious institution and having extensive research experience while some professor are excellent at explaining concepts and encouraging critical thinking

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
