It is a 4-year degree program. Admission is based on the entrance test NEE II conducted by the institute itself.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students need to pass higher Secondary or Class 12th Appeared/ Passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Age should not be more than 23 years (General)/ 26 years (OBC & female)/ 28 years (ST/SC/PH).

It is a 4-year course. Students can get admission based on CAT score or NEPGET.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students must have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline with an aggregate score of 55% marks.
• 5% relaxation for SC/ST students.
• Students with valid CAT/ MAT score will be exempt from the written test.

Selection Criteria

• Selection is based on the NEPGET and academic performance.
• Students also need to go through group discussion or personal interview to get admission.
• The weightage for written test and interview is 75% and 25% respectively.

• Students need to appear for a written test of 100 objective-type questions from the relevant subject and Research Methodology Candidates who do not have a valid GATE score/ NET including JRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR)/ SLET/ Lecturer fellowship and M. Phil.
• Students that qualify for the test cut-off of 50 marks need to go through the interview round.
• Students who are doing the job while pursuing a course need to bring NOC from the employer during an interview.

Eligibility Criteria

• A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry with a CGPA of 6.5 or an aggregate score of 60% marks in aggregate is required.
• There is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD students.

• MTech candidates need to have a valid GATE Score or they need to give NERIST PG entrance test – NEPGET.

The application process is online. Student can follow the following process

Steps for Application

• Register with a valid email ID and mobile number at the Application Portal.
• Check for program eligibility and proceed to complete application details.
• Upload required documents and review the application
• Make an online payment of application fees (INR 1000) using Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking and submit.
• NERIST do not allow any edit post submission of the application form so you have to be attentive during form filling.
• Applicants are advised to retain a print out of the completed application form to be produced at the time of counselling.
